This is so so so serious. When the husband doesn't do what he must, the only result of that is an angry response from the wife. It is hard for the wife to be a source of peace and calm when the husband is not giving her her rights, and the opposite is true as well.
@HasanBasriy4 жыл бұрын
Maybe that is why husband's obligations are mentioned first, because if a husband brings enough money no wife should be angry. 😉
@manarmanar9424 жыл бұрын
We are about to get divorced because my husband doesn't want to be responsible as a man of the house.he is pushing me to go to work and pay for everything and insults me and my parents and when I told him for the sake of Allah and the two kids we have together be a real man and treat me with respect and share responsibilities with me ,he just grabbed his own stuff and left so that he doesn't do his duty to care for his wife and kids.there is a saying :happy wife happy life.of the man takes care of his wife she will eventually be his Janna and happiness.
@aadhathuhamoodha86804 жыл бұрын
Yeah... And how you show your anger has to be well thought... Like talking to him first for like a week... And if he keeps repeating it, the wife has the right to talk to her family about it and let them talk to him... And even if he doesn't give her her rights, she can go to the court ... And if he has no intention of giving her rights she can even ask for divorce but if she wants to live with him despite all that, thats her choice and all she can do as long as she is married to him is to give him advice..
@aadhathuhamoodha86804 жыл бұрын
As you can see it is not that important to shout at or argue with the husband ... Islam gives all woman the right to get what they deserve... But in the right way ... And with patience...it's not wrong to get angry., But getting angry and not having any control or having arguments with the husband and even when an unexpected argument occur not stopping when you realise that it's going too far, that's what should not be done...

@@Ladycooks I agree with you. It takes self esteem and confidence to leave a relationship. Unfortunately i doubt there are any men in our “desi culture” who live by these explained principles. I happen to be married to one myself who inspite of being highly educated couldnt care less about being the provider, expecting me to work and pay for all my expenses. Naturally, who wants to stay in such marriages. And then the elders say that the institution of marriage is crumbling with our generation. I wish the mothers of the previous generation had taught their sons how to be real men, rather than concentrating on the daughters and raising them only to be ideal daughter in laws

A huge problem for many converts is that they have no family members to represent them in marital disputes. In my experience it’s very hard to find someone willing to take on the responsibility of conscientiously representing the interests of a female convert.

I've just read an article about a woman in khaleej who is divorcing her husband because apparently he's extremely in love with her and cares for her and she doesn't want that because she thinks it's suffocating to be loved that much...the world is a wild place..subhaAllah!

gogo dodo We shouldn't say that to the women of this dunya. Jannah is only for the pure.

You know, the thing is that women want to follow a man who has a purpose in life, who has a higher goals, purpose, meaning in life... Thus she will feel that her life has a meaning... She doesn't want a man whose whole life is just about her, and her mood, or desires etc. Women will respect a man who have a mission in life and strives to accomplish them and at the same time he takes care of her needs, and gives his attention and gives her a feeling that he loves her despite of her shortcomings....

@gogo dodo Did u noticed that she's only talking abt her 'needs' akh, lol nothing abt being obedient to the husband or whatsoever. Whatever you've been saying right from the start is true, akhi. Ma shaa allah, Evidence. So scary, she mentions nothing abt islam or husband's or wife's right. Its abt me, me, me. Why do muslim brothers gets trapped marrying such so called 'muslimahs' above i wonder with the - You have to take care of me but u cant tell me what to do crap because im so call 'independent'. She doesnt care abt any of his rights. She's not completing his deen or encouraging him, working as a team. Its irrelevant to them. None of that. Our Al Ameen asked us to choose either 4 traits, and if you chose wrongly you marriage is dust. Choose wisely brothers, choose wisely. Nothing last, not looks, money, status. At the end of ur life, you have to answer to Allah ya Malek and ur material possesions, dunia success or ur feminist movement aint going to help. Nope. Dont get married to em, once they get single, old mayb they will change their perceptions then and understand the value of a gd brother who's purpose is akhirat and not dunia. We're not in need of such materialistic 'respect', move aside. I feel so sad for the muslim brothers..
