I’m currently feeling the same. Start listening to the Quran regularly. I think I lost my connection because I stopped doing that. Do it and you will see a change insha’Allah. Try listening for as much of the day as you can and even play it while sleeping(the healing effect works even during sleep). It will reconnect you to Allah insha’Allah. Check out OHA recitations.

Also if you have any sins that you know you are committing, especially new sins around the time you started to feel a disconnect, then stop those and make lots of istighfar.

salam alaykoum ameen and for you the same. i have been going trough the same thing and me it is about influence. i got evil i didn't even realize it; im shocked of myself sometimes and i ask 'since when i started doing this? when did i start talking like this;' then i see that i got this from familymembers because i can't break family ties. and from people outside and in videos im watching . i also struggle with depression so i don't feel pleasure in the acts i do everything is heavy. im being influenced silently if you understand, my own body is working against me and i lost my beautiful character. i feel like im doomed to become bad again. while i don't want too. the more i fight the tired (depression) i get and i get more evil. but if i stand still i get worse too because of influence. i feel trapped. wish you all so much luck. take care. salam alaykoum.

@@khadijaaitlahcen3080 brother i also don't feel pleasure in most of the acts i do, i have the same evil influences on me, friends, videos you name it. i was so much better before, i was kind hearted but now i don't feel like the same person anymore, i don't know when it will stop, i do feel some what depressed and am on medications bro, stay strong brother may Allah (SWT) help and guide you through your journy brother, may you taste the sweetness of iman and have a good and prosprous life in this world and the other, Ameen.

Depression is from shaytan. Hopelessness is equal to kufr. Believe in Allah. Believe he is with you listening to u. And recite qul frequently to keep away negative thoughts "waswasey"

I concur.....my connection to the Quran and my other deeds are greatly enhanced from following Ust approach of breaking down words.....and the meaning in Allah swt Perspective and Usage rather than the routinised use of the same word...its huge....its epic to hv this opportunity...Subhanallah. May Allah swt protect and pour baraqah on Ust and team...Aamiin Ya Allah
