This project was lots of fun and very affordable! You can create this with the tools I used or by buying trim in a big box store and using a circular saw or handsaw to cut the plywood top and bottom. Please take the poll near the end of the video and let me know if you would like to see more projects like this!

Don't like the colors at all but love the look! My parents have some of these unit at home and they don't use them all, maybe I'll steal one sometimes to play with it ;)

I have that same ikea drawer set at home I am using it in the garage as part of my miter saw station. I don't see them at Ikea anymore though.

+Daniel Lawson They still have them in Ireland I am not sure about other parts of the world.It was fun to modify it and cheaper than making my own

Daniel Lawson they just reintroduced them back in US stores but they frequently go out of stock. Check their store availability...sometimes I find they'll put a date on when they'll be restocked. Ours here in Houston just got a shipment and I plan on buying more.

1. Don't add music to any demo or DIY video. Hurts the ears and ruins the video. 2. You took a perfectly lovely, slim, low profile set of drawers and made it into a clumsy heavy thing with a very poor quality paint job. Why paint wood? It has its own beauty. This was a terrible project, sorry. Milk paint is a baffling invention. Why use something so easy to damage and not durable? Of all the finishes on earth, why use this one? It is chalky and flimsy. You had to seal it off with poly anyway. Just use poly instead, over stain or enamel paint.
