I suspect that we won't see consummation of their relationship anytime soon. I'm rubbish at figuring out the solution to the crime in these novels. Usually I can start seeing things after the third or fourth read. However, the masterful job that Galbraith has done building romantic tension between the two has thoroughly sucked me in, even though I don't read romance novels. I'm compelled to keep reading (and listening to Robert Glenister's narrations on the audiobooks - a blessing for those of us with marginal eyesight).

Yes,but the worst piece of casting ever was Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher! I want to see the characters jump from the book to the screen in every way: looks,sound move, feel etc.

@@gloriafleming3119 It annoyed me at the time, because Lee Child was defending Tom Cruise playing Reacher. He said something like Reacher being an unstoppable force rather than extraordinarily big and strong. What is worse is that he has now gone 180° saying Cruise was too small to play Reacher. I'd have rather he stood by his first statement no matter how much the fanbase disagreed. It's coming off as if Lee's fickle nature regarding Reacher's is more about how much Wagner or Amazon are paying him. I am not sure that Alan Ritchson is totally right either. He looks too young. Too clean cut. I hope makeup give him a more weathered appearance. More like someone who spends hours a day in the sun doing hard work. We are are looking forward to seeing how it works out. To be fair, much as I hated Cruise playing Reacher, they did a decent job with those movies.

@@TrevorDennis100 yes, Tom definitely did a decent job with the movies. Infact he brought more popularity to the character. I was someone who dint know about Jack Reacher but after watching the movie, I began reading the books, and it wasn't that difficult accepting that the actual Reacher didn't look like Tom.

@@gloriafleming3119 Truer words were never spoken--Cruise as Reacher was ridiculous, just shows how powerful he is in Hollywood. This guy is much close, but as someone else here noted, he's too clean-cut. Heck, I'm still mad they cast Nicholson as McMurphy in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', like 50 years ago. Nicholson is good, but he's not a 6'4" red-haired Irishman like the character.

Yes, indeed his agent did warn him he could no longer be considered for the forthcoming big budget Tarzan film.
