I love how he points out that they are, in fact, not driving a car on land.

This gigantic oil tanker had truly frightening dimensions: It was 458.45 meters long, 68.86 meters wide and when fully loaded it had a draft of 24.61 meters. These measures prevented it from passing through many canals, such as the Panama Canal or Suez Canal. It had a 50,000 horsepower engine, a 9-meter diameter propeller weighing 50 tons, the rudder blade was 11 meters long, 14 meters high weighed 250 tons and it had a 36-ton anchor. The anchor can still be seen outside the Hong Kong Maritime Museum

The ship had a steam radial flow turbine, specifically a Ljungström turbine. Still, it had to be the largest ever made.

It had 4 owners: Universal Petroleum Company (1979-1989), Norman International A/S (1989-1991), K/S Jahre Viking (1991-2004) and First Olsen PTE LTD (2004-2009) It was made in Japan by Sumitomo Heavy Industries and launched in 1975 for a Greek shipping company, which however refused its delivery. The ship was then purchased by a Chinese tycoon who had it lengthened by many meters
