We always love watching and listening to the classics. The sound effects for us are still top notch to this day. We like watching Thunderbirds, and the way all the episodes are done are very excellent. Birmingham is such a lovely city to make it upon. It's always beautiful when you visit the city nowadays.

I had surgery in the 90’s to make me hear as I was born completely deaf. Even though I was deaf I was obsessed with the images of Thunderbirds. When I came too I remember my dad and mum had got me every single Thunderbirds toys I could ever want including Tracy Island! Now even approaching my 40’s I am building Thunderbirds out of Lego.

When ever I hear the Thunderbirds theme tune it sends a shiver down my spine!!!! Some awesome music and is the sound track to many of our lives !!! FAB 😊

As an infant I was propped up on cushions on the sofa while Supercar and later Fireball XL5 was on the tv. My mother wanted a little bit of peace while she got on with other things. I think it paved the way for my love of Doctor Who. But then again, later, I did have a little bit of a crush on Captain Scarlet. My ex husband used to say he could remember Torchy The Battery Boy.

The piece is a Birmingham connection focussed item. Barry was not from Birmingham. The concert itself was full of Barry Gray mentions and music
