The UK's first 4DX cinema has just opened in Milton Keynes.
High-tech motion seats and special effects including fog, lightning and wind will give audiences an interactive feeling.
The technology was developed in South Korea and has been adopted by some Hollywood studios.

Yes, IMAX is most Immersive Format and Theaters. Gigantic Curve Screen, IMAX Format Expanded Aspect Ratio (Only For IMAX) and their DMR of the Movie, IMAX Deeper Bass Sound Mix (Only for IMAX) and Stadium Seating Arrangements and Closer to Screen is the Best

I tried the 4DX version of Uncharted at the Cineworld Dublin today (20-02-2022) and it was my first time to try it. It was absolutely amazing! It adds extreme sensory thrills to our cinema experience! With stimulating effects like water, wind, scent and strobe lighting that are timed to enhance what's happening on screen. The seats started moving when the film began and I was amazed. I said "What the?!", "Oh my goodness!" and "Holy cow!" I thought I never felt anything like that before in my entire life! It feels like an amusement ride! I'd like to try it again someday!

@@verrat3219 Eh, not really. 4DX feels more immersive than IMAX. It just depends on the movie and also the theater that you go to. Since certain 4DX theaters offer more on 4DX than others. For me, Kong Skull Island was a crappy experience in 4DX, while Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2, The Batman, Ghost In The Shell, and Suicide Squad was a great experience.

@@verrat3219 I mean the scent, water, snow, and air features are incredibly immersive. Chair moving is prolly a distraction, but it looks amazing. I personally can't wait to experience it on the 5th Nov (Gonna watch One Piece Red)

When we experienced 4D cinema first time, there were horses running on the screen every time. Initially it was fun then we got bored then we got irritated a lot. What's more.. movie turned out so bad that we decided to never to try 4D first time

@@nomeman5278 @Nome Man That too. Amusement ride is enjoyable when you do it willingly and for a small period. Not randomly anywhere between 2:30 Hrs. The movie turned bad because it had poor villains. Moreover the ending was so pathetic that it was like a topping on all other shit we survived for 2:30 Hrs.
