A thoroughly decent and well rounded lady. So refreshing to hear this type of character sketch from a star...to just be a beautiful gracious lady yet

Wish this interview was longer, the interviewer was asking some good questions and Julie seemed quite comfortable answering them...24:15 interesting to know there was a third movie that Blake was going to make, wonder what it was aimed it 🤔. 25:01 i love how she pronounces No here 😅😝. Also i wish she had done some movies if not every year but something in between with other directors and not just Blake, it always intrigues me what roles were being offered to her (apart from the few that we know) and whether they were worth doing it.

I’m assuming it’s the movie Blake was talking about? The one where they were in Switzerland with their kids going nuts, his career on hold and life being slightly chaotic in general?

@@TheJulieAndrewsArchive no but that happened in the early 90s...this interview is from 1982...i think it could be "The Man Who Loved Women" since he wrote the screenplay for the movie with his analyst but then I don't see anything that the movie conveyed that Julie mentions here...so I'm confused whether it was that or some other movie.

Victor/ Victoria is from 1982. And he did write it in Switzerland. Just like SOB.

@@TheJulieAndrewsArchive ya..but we're talking about the 3rd movie and since this interview is from December 1982... obviously their kids acting out hadn't happened till then so the story he mentions in the Charlie Rose show in 1996 couldn't be the 3rd film...hence other than 10, SOB and Julie mentions it wasn't Victor/Victoria, so the only movie that fits into the 3rd one is The Man Who Loved Woman but that doesn't seem to be a personal statement since it is already inspired from a French movie which again leaves us wondering what was the 3rd movie.

She was to do The Merry Widow live version in San Fran Opera and a live TV version. She was also offered to play the tea pot in Beauty & the Beast, Bed and Broom Sticks, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Jean Broody...these were just on her table to do! UGH!

A trilogy? What was the 3rd film...seems to have never been made.
