Why didn't BBC Two bring back the either the 1998, 1999 or 2000 Xmas idents?

+lukesams2 I'm surprised that Northern Ireland didn't play the original soundtrack. Northern Ireland usually go one better don't they.

'carcinogenic' ˌkɑːs(ɪ)nəˈdʒɛnɪk/ adjective adjective: carcinogenic having the potential to cause cancer. In Layman's terms, this ident's soundtrack is so awful, it has the potential to cause cancer.
