It warms my hear to know that The Music Of Motown and Philly Soul still is popular in The UK. The Songs they performed were just as famous as The Folks who Wrote it. Marvin Gaye (RIP), Co Wrote Dancing In The Street and as many of you known Martin Kemp was on EastEnders and before he was in Spandau Ballet where in True he sang about listening To Marvin All Night Long Get Ready was one of Many Songs written by Smokey Robinson and he even appeared on Two US Soaps. Generations that had the First Fully Integrated Cast as well as a Club Promoter on The Young & The Restless. ABC was Written by a Songwriting Team called The Corporation that was lead by Berry Gordy Jr., who Co Writer was Alfonso" Fonce" Mizell, who is also Cousins to The Ronettes (Be My Baby) and Jam Master J of Run DMC. Ain't NO Mountain High Enough was written by The Late Nikolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson whose are the Most Successful African American Husband Wife Songwriting Team. She did the Words Nick did The Music. Co-Incidentally they also wrote I'm Every Woman that Girls Aloud performed and they also made a Cameo Appearance on the US Soap Opera Guiding Light.

This was fun to see. Many of the cast members are able to sing well, the others manage to pull it off okay. But the best singer in the bunch is John Partridge and he should have been given more close-ups and much more singing time. I'd watch ANYTHING with him.
