Gu53cUa A comeback is a quick response to someone else that has insulted you. Obviously, if there is no insult then there is nothing to "come back" from. What Gerard did was a witty comment (and sexual innuendo). I can't believe you actually needed me spell it out for you smh.

Gu53cUa I admit that some dictionaries do give that overgeneralized definition, but in popular media it's almost always used when you outmaneuver someone that is trying to put you down (verbally or in sports). Olga wasn't even talking to Gerard, let alone trying to put him down. This is why I'd say it's more correct to say it was just a witty comment instead of a comeback.
