BBC2 Closedown, 11th February 1989

10 жыл бұрынBBC2 (sorry, TWO) closes down with a clock, blackscreen and tone, and just when you thought nothing else was going to happen test card F appears, with the old school BBC2 double lines logo.
It's also far too late for announcers to be able to tell the time!

Thank you for this of course. Interesting as others have said too that the closedown has tone, but then Test Card F with tone also last of all indeed?!

After 2 AM the OU started their programmes till 7AM in those days doing an OU degree was a bugger remember video recorders were very expensive. The only way to catch up is weekends in the morning from 4 am to 7am .
