Welcome to the Grammar Gameshow! Test your knowledge in this crazy quiz! The presenter is a bit strange, the points don't make sense and the prizes could use some improvement, but at least the grammar is correct!
Poor Selene. She’s heart-broken! The course of true love never does run smooth. Surely, that makes her an easy target for Will? Surely he’ll do his best not to mention it. Hi Wilman. Some two syllable adjectives can take both ‘er’ or ‘more’. Handsome is one, common is another. Some people say one thing, some say another. It’s one of those ‘just because’ things!

I can tell you this is definitely not American English. We would never say "Will is handsomer than everyone." We would say "Will is more handsome than everyone." OR "Will is the most handsome."

I learned that comparatives Comparatives are adjectives that allow us to compare two or more things. When used in a sentence, they are often followed by "what." example: I thought this movie was more interesting than the last two we saw.
