you lack empathy if you can't understand how people might not like someone what they do or how they act. I think a few her last interviews were condescending or patronizing. This one seemed to come from more of a happy place and she seemed more centered and clear headed with no ego in the way of her answers. Everyone in the spotlight will be criticized a lot. Look now there's outrage about her Melbourne cup horse race gig (I think it's a reach for clickbaits). And I can at least understand that some people react immensely with outrage when they hear about animal cruelty and others may not. For me I was quite saddened by her capital one sponsorships and then a week after it was announced there was this massive security breach exposing millions of customer information. But there has been no backlash for that. The company used her. And she remained silent around the issue that affected her fans. She just takes the spotlight when she has something to profit or is receiving criticism I think it's opportunistic and self centered. Just like her Tumblr post was a devised free stunt to get publicity for her album release date. Love her music as long as she's not trying to shove her ideologies down my throat. Cheers & love you all xo

@A C ??? I'm a woman. I certainly don't look at all women this way. Taylor is the definition of white feminism. She's one of the most successful people on the planet, but if you dare criticize anything she does, SEXIST. Please, child. Take some gender studies in college and learn about REAL feminism. Research why REAL feminists don't like her. Read about why she is a classist, privileged JOKE.

I've always noticed how sharp of a mind Taylor Swift has. She has the ability to string near-perfect lines that sound like they came directly from a pullitzer prize collection of novels and almost do it on cue. A perfect example of it is 6:51. When you really think about it, it is a real talent to, in a split second, be able to say what she did so smoothly and in a way that almost creates an image in your head of that type of person. Her music obviously shows off those poetic skills but it's in simple interviews like this that show just how innate it is for her. It is clear she was destined for this.
@upscaleavenue4 жыл бұрын
She's very, very intelligent. She graduated from high school with a 4.0 GPA while simultaneously balancing a music career. Not to mention that she completed both her Junior and Senior years in only a few months. At 18, she wrote an entire album by herself. Her capacity as an intellectual showcases itself in her lyrics. And she doesn't get enough credit for it, if any at all.

Honestly the best interviewer for Taylor yet, everyone else seems out of touch compared to this lovely lady who can ask tough questions and still be complimentary
