Not the typical funny easy-going interview we get from Ali most of the time, but then again Austin Butler always seems focused deeply on whoever's sitting across from him, and doing constant introspection at the same time, which honestly must be quite exhausting for him, and then Ali basically mirrors his interviewee's energy. A very nice, relaxed interview with a calming effect. ❤

Nothing he has done since YH has been a bomb!

It’s wild to think Austin is relatively new to this a list industry. He only had a hit film, two years ago and it won him all these awards, and he seems to have such a bright career ahead of him. Can’t wait to see what he does next

The Believer Blue Valentine Lars and the Real Girl Fracture Stay Half Nelson Craz, Stupid, Love Drive The Ides of March The Place Beyond the Pines The Nice Guys Bladerunner 2049 Ryan Gosling has delivered nothing but net all his career. Probably one of the best movie CV of his generation. It's easy to understand why Butler admires Gosling. It should be studied how well Ryan Gosling has picked his movies.

He's a good actor, I think a movie like the bikeriders is a better pivot for him than Dune 2. His character was a bit overrated. He was good but come on he wasn't Heath Ledger from the dark knight. Just needs to focus doing good stories, not like Henry Cavill whose wasting his good years doing shitty movies.

@@globetrekkerfromCA You think he is phenomenal, good for you! I think he sucks, and therefore that makes me mean, petty and insecure, because I don't fit into how we should view your phenomenal actor? Go figure. Must all comments be positive about this actor? Because you say so? I hope you are not going to break out the, "But it's my truth!" argument.

@@carlkoh You’re entitled to your opinion but just saying someone “sucks” is immature and shows lack of intelligence. There’s a difference between posting a thoughtful comment about why a particular actor is not your thing and just trashing someone. And honestly I’m just sick and tired of negativity online.
