Unfortunately.. the possibility of them being able to connect the synapses that connect memory in the brain is 0.01 percent... meaning there's nearly no chance that you would have your memories intact even they were able to restart everything in the brain.. Heart death is the usual definition used in most jurisdictions. If you have a badly damaged brain but a good heart you are suitable to be a heart transplant, if your heart (and/or other organs) is a gonner but your brain is okay you are suitable for cryonic suspension.

Like he said, it's sufficient to merely preserve the brain as, by the time any kind of technology develops that is able to revive these frozen bodies (if it is indeed at all possible), regenerative medicine will probably be at a point where they'll just be able to regrow a body for you using your DNA. So the rest of the body could still be donated.
