Breaks my heart that Tim and his father went through such horrors. Tim is such a strong and courageous man who became a amazing and loving father who completely broke the cycle of abuse and protected his kids.

Never a mention of the horrors that have become the daily norm in Great Britain. Question this? Humor us then - Have a teenage daughter? Yes? Well, not for long, if you're a diluted propagandist SJW lunatic, have your daughter take a stroll down any " indigenous British " road, street, or neighborhood. Likewise, repeat the same action on a, let's just say a more more " non-indigenous " road, street, or neighborhood. Be certain, she's coming back safely from one and not coming back at all from the other. But you're not insane are you? I certainly hope not! And you'll never subject a loved one to such harm and danger. But you will sit behind that keyboard and journey to a fantasy land where these realities don't exist. A land of unicorns, rainbows, and virtually everything other than reality.

@@markroberts868 Did you not watch the video? In it Sir. you will hear Tim Roth and the interviewer speaking / blaming groups that for any practical reality don't even exist, speaking of Nazi's and Clansmen ( Klansmen? ) as if Great Britain and the USA are inundated with them, especially the USA. Which is of course is a bald face lie. I'm 55 years old, born and raised in the South USA and have never met or seen anyone affiliated with the KKK. Never one in 55 years. But to listen to Tim Roth they're more populous than our local bird species apparently. I furthermore have never met anyone who was blatantly " racist ". By that I mean someone who hates someone solely based on the color of their skin. That may have indeed been a thing in the past but it isn't anymore. Tim Roth continues to blabber on about " Islamophobia " ironically at near the same time Great Britain was experiencing a horrible rash of public beheading and, I believe still in effect, grooming gangs, both demographic responsible are / were Islamic. Those who complained the most, and actually fought for the safety and honor of their countrymen, Tommy Robinson for example, were / are immediately demonized, and called, you guessed it, Islamophobic, racists, and Nazi's. Any hint of a sizable group of " Islamophobic racists " in Great Britain is created only by their lying Media. I spent a great deal of time there in 2015 and 2016 and no one hated people from the Middle East because they're from the Middle East. They were in fact welcomed there as a result of the barbarity where they came from and treated exceptionally well once arriving. Better in fact than most Britain's ( FACT ). Another fact, while there I learned very quickly there are neighborhoods and sections of cities and towns where if not Islamic you do not enter. And who stops you from entering you might ask? The Islamic neighborhoods have their own sanctioned police and security force, as if they're under attack all the time or something which of course they are not, it is they who are racist, and extremely so. Entering these places, if foolish enough to do so, is suicidal. These are a few of the realities not permitted discussed on local News and Media outlets which itself should be a punishable crime for hiding and masking the dangers have cost innocent human lives. Good ol' Mr. Tim Roth is " in the fold ", thus he won't speak of these REALITIES but rather drool over evil societies and mythological Nazi groups that don't exist.

One of my all time faves, absolute respect . On the subject of abuse , he is right , you are basically taught NOT to have a voice and THATS where being involved in the arts especially drama and acting is a fantastic tool to learn about how to communicate in a safe space. It is utter liberation . When I discovered acting, it felt like I had been given WINGS and I could fly aaaaanywhere 😄 Much better than counciling , Doctors or pills ( for me personally) I will watch anything with Tim in but I have to say I was not able as of yet to watch War Zone because it was too close to the bone and my own experience so did not want to experience the trauma and that darkness or helpless impotent feeling again that I had as a child

My problem with the section of the talk about "resisting racism"... is racism damn near died out through the 60's-90's, it's been media manipulation that's set us against each other again in the last decade. Racially and politically. They've divided the West pretty much straight down the middle, with no room for being anywhere near the centre anymore; you've got to pick a side or you're part of "the problem". I think it's disgusting and hold them fully accountable for everything they've encouraged in their insane pursuit of money and influence. Or should I hold the people accountable? After all, we're all dumb enough to listen to them... ah who cares, humanity's a bit of a stinker overall anyway.

Tim's probably very removed from broader society as a Hollywood elitist. Him talking about societal issues is good a laugh. Tim's a good actor, but his political analysis and his blind fanboyism of trash pulp filmmaker Quentin Tarantino had me rolling my eyes hard.

...also, Tim Roth is not some kid from a ‘rough background’ who made good - his mother was a teacher and his dad a journalist. Good actor, though, with or without the self-mythologising.

Rough background doesn’t have to mean “poor”. In this case it’s referring to the sexual abuse he experienced at the hands of his grandfather.

mark smith - firstly. Enough with the “lefty luvvies “BS. That’s just a lazy MailOnline stereotype. I am left wing. I voted for Brexit exactly because I don’t want unelected Eurocrats making unaccountable decisions. I also think we should have more control over our own borders. I can, and do see the flaw in each argument, but I made a conscious decision having thought about it. So did an amazing number of Left wingers. Didn’t know that, did you?

Comparing anti-islamism to holocaust and nazi antisemitism is appalling. Muslim countries and rulers actually collaborated with the nazis for the sole reason they were antisemitic (antisemitism stemming from both the christianity and islam). I'm against any kind of abuse towards the nominal muslims who never hurt a fly and they treat their children and women well. The thing is they aren't really muslims if they do, as the books they cherrypick nice stuff from are full of violence and injustice and those, among the acts committed against non-muslim civilians (including those who declare to be muslim, but aren't really anymore, like mentioned above) that are clearly dictated by that religion, are things that anti-islamism is about.
