Fantastic to watch being from Plymouth and seeing all the places Dartmoor and Look back in the 50.s when I was a teenager thank you.

My two favourite places ..Dartmoor ( I live there ) and Looe..I'm there at every regular opportunity.

There is a certain idyllic twist in the script music and narration , but this was the 1950,s post war , I don think in reality the ratings life was like that at all .. Wishful thinking of the Royal Navy of the time . I welcome the revisit by BBC Spotlight ..Curious to know if the character in the film is still around it was 66 years ago ?
