Well, I kinda managed to do it. I actually don't know japanese and my english knowledge is quite imperfect. Nonetheless, it seems that my scraps of knowledge combined with some english translations from BBCT allowed me to create these subs. And, you know, it's mostly accurate, about 95% or so. At least you should get an idea about what's going on in original video. Also did use some rephrases and game translations.
Subbed in Sony Vegas Pro 9.0, lol. Made subs large so they could be read even in 360p.

I'm not going to lie. It was this video that got me into Blazblue. I watched the entire thing, then I thought to myself " WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS SHIT, THIS IS SO FUCKING BADASS". at that point I went into the wiki and read EVERYTHING.

funny cause hakumen is at 20% power right now writers probably put that handicap on him else ragna would be dead by now and the story shortened, either that or ragna somehow beats him at 100%, contracting the biggest asspull of all asspulls

Oh dang. XD Pretty nice job. Though the "Dai" that they say is 第 not 大. It's just a prefix before a number. So you should have omitted "Great" before Ragna and Nu say "Restriction 666". Oh, someone already said that in the comments. Sorry, ignore the above then. XD But considering what you said in the description, you did a DAMN good job. Props. *Thumbs up*

@OmegaRayblade Well, I'd imagine it would be VERY, VERY hard to do. I mean, syncing up the voices and the songs shouldn't be too hard, but then you got to find the sound effects for the attacks and put them in as well. Overall, it is possible, but only if someone would be willing to go through all the effort in order to do so.

If Ragna can do that much with Blazblue active, imagine if Hazama really REALLY went all out with his Blazblue! He does hold back (obviously) for the Xander's Gambit he killed TA, TB, and TC with. Regardless, we need more Perfect True Endings FTW! 1 thing I can think of is unlimited Mu style attacking with the Ouroborus. My my, that'd be Endless Despair all by itself! >.

I'm not much of a hardcore gamer, to be honest I pretty much suck at complex fighting games, but since the first GG it's story seemed so attractive to me haha

No, Noel is the only one who can nullify Jin's power, so far. It's one of the reasons why he's so aggressive towards her, but again neither of them realize this. I doubt Hakumen knows because he comes from a timeline when Noel didn't exist. But if you're just talking about the Power of Order, then yes he knows about it.

Pretty sure Jin is aggressive to Noel because she resembles Saya so much, who he was jealous of when they were kids because she had Ragna all to herself. (sorry for 5 years late comment but it bugged me a lot)

@maxlinkmax well I'm not haterager, so np. I've also found some mistakes and thing that I could've done better. Still I can't change the translation without replacing the whole video. Which is not worth the trouble.

@lucire666 yeah, whatever I've been hearing. But hey, they've made this "name" by putting together parts of jin's voices together. And I've mentioned that don't know japanese (atleast yet). So I've done pretty much everything I could to decipher this. Ragna's Astral? You mean that was before Nu did her astral on him? I was pretty sure it's totally correct. Not sure about "dragon install sakkai" finisher though.

@Argaiyo i heard him saying "kiwame" which is "extreme", lol. Not too sure though. And I do not know japanese, but the official translation seems like an "extended" version of japanese one, with epithets and so.

A piece of uncommon trivia: Nu took Ragna's Azure Grimoire and became the Black Beast. Nu, Ragna and Jin were transported 100 years into the past. Ragna had lost his memory and became Bloodedge. Jin became Hakumen. A time loop that had been going on for so long until Noel saves Ragna from falling into the Cauldron and being sent to the past. Part of the loop has broken.

Noel was the missing link, as she wasn't in those previous timeloops, that is why she could save ragna, she was not registered by the takamagahara system!

The next game should definitely have the option to change individual voices from english to japanese. I love Patrick Sietz as Ragna, but Kakihara Tetsuya's Hakumen is god damn amazing.

Good work on this. I've always been wondering what Jin says during that 99hit super, but I googled your translation and didn't get any results. You just wrote down whatever you've been hearing, or you got it from a legit source? Ragna's Astral on Nu is off too, but I guess it doesn't really matter.

lol once the health bars show up, the fights hardly last at all. Also, it would be cool if a version of this was done with the english voice actors. I may be the only one that likes them but I like what I like

@GrahamChapman do as you wish, I'm always stating my subjective preferences. Just because. And, well, Ragna is not rough (only his aggressive lines are). His voice actor must be able to do smooth transitions from rough and agressive to cold and intimidating, calm and gentle. And, lastly, humorous tsukkomi ("what was that?!"). Objectively, Patrick totally sucks at last one, while Sugita has a frikkin' several years experience as Gintoki from Gintama. Not to mention that Ragna shares his attitude.

@009lan yeah, they didn't want to merge scenes together properly, so they inserted a picture/video between each scene. Kinda cheap, actually. And they've made a mistake with heat, epic.

@mewmaster93 how can you substract japanese voices from the whole soundtrack? You'd have to call its original developers so they recreate the video anew without voicing so you could put dub over it.

@GrahamChapman Woah, didn't mean to start anything here. Personally, I really think Sietz does Ragna just fine at calmer moments in the story, and does portray his gentler, or more comical side-- while I definitely think the gruff, intimidating side is a bit overboard for him. Thing is, Ragna is my favorite character simply because I always go for the generically bad ass characters. Sietz's overly gruff Ragna only adds to that image for me.

@XxShukumeixX I don't completely share your sentiments, but I do understand you... My beef here is with Omega. You said that "[you] love Patrick Sietz as Ragna", a clear expression of opinion, but Omega replied to you that "Sugita Tomokazu is better Ragna seiyuu anyway", which sounds to me like he's trying to make his opinion come across as a fact, and I just don't like that sort of thing... Trivia: Ragna is attributed with 8 or 9 different Bad Ass tropes on TV-Tropes. That's pretty Bad Ass.

@DevilishGuts I suspect Arcsys was planning to launch a new weeaboo game while dealing with Sega for GG; then improve it a lot and make game mechanics harder. Then, when fans are already "improved" enough, they'll make a new Guilty Gear game. If I'm not mistaken, Ark's executive developer said they'll certainly return to GG later, no matter how difficult it would be. Still GGXXAC lacks ps3 port.
