In this video, I removed the baffles and trap door setup and reinstalled a new splash shield. The Canton oil pan was originally designed for road racing applications with four trap doors and baffles to help keep the oil in the center compartment. But the baffles made it hard to completely drain the milky oil caused by running methanol. As seen in my previous video. Unlike most drag racing pans this pan is only 8" deep with an 8-quart capacity ideal for low-ground clearance applications without a cross member.
