Although homie got smoked, yall over here hatin. This dude had the balls to call out GRAVITY in THE CYPHER! Thats what i like to call some real breaking. The cypher aint always about who wins or loses, its about exchanging ROUNDS! Obvi we know the winner here, but to me, everyones a winner in the circle.

im sick in tired of people coming on here especially if your represent the street dance, making fun of or trying belittle a person for a calling someone else out. This is a culture was created because of call outs. Whether win lose or draw call outs are meant to better the community and is the bread and butter of street dancing. It supposed to keep the guy doing to for a while sharp. While giving the guy calling gravity out confidence in the near future and gets him sharp when he trains to better. Taking a Loss gets you better. I’m not debating who won or not, because it’s supposed to different opinions, but what I will not stand for is when folks. Come on disrespecting a man for embracing the true essence of the culture which is call outs. The ones talking shit is too scared like females to go out and be confident in themselves. Call outs better all generations of streets dancers. The only thing I did like was them both saying the N word if you not black both of them would have been chin checked. For that. 💯
@meltednostrilsbornwithoutn7817 ай бұрын
Problem is Black people call non Black men the N word. You can't call someone a slur and then tell them they can't say it. That's exactly what you're doing to begin with.
@mikemyers55667 ай бұрын
@@meltednostrilsbornwithoutn781 YES the fuck you can. Enough with that bullshit. I don’t wanna hear none of that. Black people especially in America have always been treated lower than low in this country. Especially when we are the CREATORS of modern civilization including this Hip Hop shit. Everyone else is pure guest trying to cosplay a black person. I’m not hear to argue. Until you come from an ancestral past life which includes for past ancestors emduring slavery, and to reconstruction, to Jim Crow(I repeat JIM CROW, Lynchings, BLACK FACE minstrel shows, majority of deadly Police Brutalities, and Anti Black rhetoric )from everyday since the beginning of this country. I don’t wanna hear shit you have to say, Because you know damn well. A black person who don’t be in the dance circle but grew up in impoverished environments in America where this hip hop started, would slap you silly for even playing like that.💯
@mikemyers55667 ай бұрын
@@meltednostrilsbornwithoutn781 and here’s another thing. I never see any bboys or bgirl who are “popular”trying to improve the same black neighborhoods, or establishments by raising money for the very culture you took from. Everybody usually learns and wants to go to Redbull or these white organizations, who pirated from black culture, but wanna sit high and mighty and talk crazy claiming black people shouldn’t say a word. We never made up😂😂😂😂 Street dancers who litterally depend on white daddy to pay their bills (Olympics, Red Bull, monster etc)😂😂 will always be hilarious to me. Street dance is an art not a fucking sport.

Nah guy who called him out thought himself as dope but he was trash ass. You want quality callouts, good battles. Gravity should have stopped after his first round. If you guys support bullshit like this, then callouts would be just be a clown show

people dont do this anymore. this is what breaking was all about. back in 2007 everybody be calling out the top. then it got like a weird negative connotation and stigma to it. as long as you call em out during cyphers its good.

It’s always interesting when someone tries to dance under the influence, right? 😄 Do you think the choice of beverage affects a dancer’s performance, or is it all about their skills and preparation?
@adriengadson35448 ай бұрын
@@ConcreteZen He may understand concepts like footwork and freezes. By the age he looks he should know better to dance under the influence. Also his positioning probably isn't that great in the first place. Wrong person to mess with in Gravity...always aggressive.

That's a good analogy. Gravity HAD to do this. It's bboy code. It's hip hop code. When someone calls you out, regardless of the circumstances, if you are a REAL bboy, then you have to get down. There's a video of some guy challenging KRS ONE to a freestyle battle that was like this video here. KRS lets him ryhme, then proceeds to show him and everyone watching why he is who he is lol

@ConcreteZen good question. The Bang and Buck Hop are two movements that can be done in many variations. Now there is a move called the Bang Out which is like a Bang but it's a continuous Bang added with a Bounce and feeling of the music. To get an idea I'd suggest watching Eyez vs ER
