Loving the interviews & respect for all the work you put in, but please, in the future, use mics when interviewing people, especially in crowded or noisy rooms. It'll make the audio quality, as well as the overall viewing experience so much better :)

Bruh, he keeps his hat on the whole time. His form is out of this world. Any slop at all would make his hat fall off.

"The music was there first and then the dance style was created to that music. So it's really important that the DJ's are playing the music that the dance was created on," -Storm Respect!

Much respect to Storm, but his assertion that dance is tied to the music popular at the time of its creation is complete bullshit.
@quant1c9 жыл бұрын
i wonder what you would normal dance classical dances too .... LOL i think storm refers to that the dance looks best with the music that the dance was created on
@gameVStruth9 жыл бұрын
Dance is created by the dancer who is moved by the music he or she loves. Storm never really understood that breaking was about freedom and being amazing, not about structure and tradition. It is his German mindset which really is in stark contrast with the American inner city mindset that orginally spawned the dance. He is amazing and he took something that was chaotic and free and with discipline added layers of structure. It is useful to learn from his technique, but not from his mindset. A street dancer is a renegade who embraces freedom over rules. It is a dance of the drug dealer, the criminal, the man living outside the rules. It is not ballet, it is dirty, it is amazing, and it hates rules.
@LANSpace2119 жыл бұрын
your philosophy is pretty on point! Although saying someone's view point is bullshit (especially someone like Storm) probably will get a lot of hate. Might wanna just say you disagree haha
@xzseng45249 жыл бұрын
gameVStruth yeah kevin has a point. If you disagree to storms explanation then just say you disagree. BBoy storm has created a history in breaking. Calling someone legendary in the scene bullshit will put you in a very bad position
@sidgrim21689 жыл бұрын
much respect to you gameVStruth, but your assertion that breaking is a dance of drug dealers is complete bullshit.
