It may be embarrassing, but his ability to save money will go a long way for his family. I just wish that he would have taken some of what he knew his bride wanted into consideration.

I get where the parents would be a little upset about not being involved in the planning, however if they really wanted to be part of the process they probably could have helped pay for one. I mean their backyard looked pretty nice -I’m sure they could have come up with some money and like done it jointly with them and the grooms family.

I get the parents being upset, being UPSET is totally understandable. It is their only daughter and it's such a Monumentally huge and important day.... however, with that being said, IF the parents cared that much then they would have paid for them to get married and then they woulda been very involved 🤷🏼‍♀️ And if they absolutely couldn't afford to pay for their daughter's wedding (totally understandable as well), then they could have even offered to help pitch in something or even threw them an intimate wedding at a church and have the reception at their house, etc.. The parents being mad and distant to their daughter obviously isn't that justifiable. 🙄 NO help NO input. 💯 The groom is just a disaster altogether 🤦🏼‍♀️ he didn't even give her a proper proposal 🙄, never asked the father for her hand in marriage 🙄, didn't involve her family whatsoever and Throughout this entire episode, not once did he really think of his bride-to-be, it was ALL about him and his narcissistic buddy. His brother had more sense than he did and his brother even thought of the bride-to-be more than her own groom-to-be! Sad really. honestly never really saw the point in a table plan. i didn't have one at my wedding, everyone just sat where they wanted to. most people came with their own groups anyway so there was just a table for each group/family.

When I watch these weddings on this show it just makes me believe that the events are so superficial and to be honest, usually ghastly! The whole concept of the real meaning of marriage gets lost in all the stress, anxiety and nastiness involved. I’m all about simplicity and the couple sharing all the decisions for their special day so that it shows their love and respect towards each other and brings them both happiness.

Why didn't her mom cough up the money and plan the wedding!! What a mother in law to have. Poor Patrick.
