BBS make the best decks ever, I'm 97kg...and these are the only decks i can abuse on street and park and still have never broken one. I only wish this company would supply my shop directly here in Ireland.

Thank you for this video not many people are willing to show the manufacturing process and this makes it very transparant and what type of services you offer I might look into this cuz I do have some products that I need manufacturing that involve wood pieces if I could find appropriate design patents are available to produce without patent infringement

@@thevernonpossethe two biggest wood shops tried to stay on American soil. But skaters refuse to pay higher prices. One moving forced the rest to move. In this case we have nothing to blame but ourselves.

I'm sorry but after skating single press decks from almost I can't go back to these flexible decks the feel is always different concave isn't the same from deck to deck I can feel the difference. I collect them sometimes but I won't skate them.

@@Ac_a I ride almost impact decks otherwise I snap my deck fairly quickly also I really like that I can't feel the difference between the decks and they're stiff and don't get soggy fast like some brands. I recently purchased a real deck the ishod wair twin tail as well as a primitive lemos gold King Kong. It's hard to find a good American made deck most decks either come from Mexico or China even PS sticks are pressed in Mexico I believe. I'm from a different generation of skater, let me tell you the difference between a 1 and a 4 deck or a 1 and a 5 is night and day and yes a lot of new skaters will never know this issue but after 30 years you can tell shape wheelbase proper concave and kick

@@reymensk8 Most of the big brands in the US (and a lot around the world as well) use Mexican woodshops. Bareback (the one in this video) and PS Stix are the big two, and between them I'd guess they make probably 75-80% of the top 20 selling brands with the others being Chinese (the Dwindle companies + Girl/Chocolate/Crail). If you're skating a Deluxe (antihero/krooked/real), Bakerboys (baker/deathwish/heroin/birdhouse), Quasi, Alien, Toy Machine etc... then you're skating a board made in Mexico. Mexican made decks are considered the industry standard for high quality boards now, since a decade or so ago the biggest American shops packed everything up and moved down there to save money. They still use the same process and materials, they just pay the workers less now. Kind of fucked up but that's sort of how it has to be since the price of a deck hasn't gone up in 30 years.
