Thank you so much, Curtis. If you're doing this for most provinces/states, I really can't wait for your Nova Scotia insights. Just moved back here after 12 years in BC, but haven't considered it that much from this angle yet.

Politics are irrelevant especially once you retract from the system. Homeschooling solves 50% of the politics problems.

As a man who was homeschooled 9 out of 12 years, dropped out at g11, then completed my diploma at 26 through ICS, with a 92% avg in 42 courses, of my own accord.... I approve this message!! The public school system has some serious faults happening and its making people insane. I couldnt stand it there. Way better off doing home correspondence or home schooling. Even self educating, which is probably the greatest strength you develop from homeschooling.

Politics isn't irrelevant. Go live on an Indian reserve, or a communist country and you will figure that out.

Avoid any areas within any city/town limits, some BC towns by-law officers come to your private property and say you cannot live in a RV on your private property. Cranbrook? or Castlegar? or both. I would avoid ALR land, who needs restrictions. In BC the 120-year-old mining act allows authorized mining companies to come mine your property, you can stop that by buying your own tracer claim, or keep bees or crops, then they cannot dig up your land. I think someone dug up Bill Bennets yard, he should have changed the act when he was minister of Mines. I was going to do a video rant about the clear-cut areas in BC, I have been looking at BC maps for 10 years and I don't see the brown spots turning green, good job BC forestry. Try and keep your supply route short, my grocery run is 22mins away. If you are elderly might want to get really close to an ambulance station. My price 114k for 4 acres close to Midway, have seen 80acres on Louise Lake 500k and recently saw 800000 acres for 500k in Bella Coola. Nice wide range of options.

You are so right about that evening aspect. Our place is above Kootenay lake and we have a SE aspect. I cherish that mountain behind me blocking out that 7:00 sun on a 32 degree day! Also wanted to mention about the big and I mean huge ag in that Fraser valley. You mentioned the population but didn't mention that. Some property around Chilliwack might look attractive to people who don't know better.

If there are going to be foreclosures, i dont think that there will be much of a price drop unless it is clear title and bought many years ago. The banks always want their money and profits, so they are unlikely to drop its purchased price.

Alberta is crazy expensive right now. With many people moving from other provinces (because of politics) the averages have skyrocketed. There are properties but all the good ones are unattainable to the average Joe without a massive down-payment. My 2 cents.

Anytime someone says climate change isn't real or doesn't matter because climate has always changed, I immediately become skeptical of anything they have to say because it shows either intentional dishonesty, or a serious lack of critical thinking skills. It's true the climate has always changed, but the levels of change we've seen in the past 100 years have only previously happened on timespans of 50,000 - 100,000 years. We're talking deep geological time here. Change on this level is the SHTF event that everyone wants to fantasize about, except it's not exciting enough. I think it's good to be skeptical about how the government and corporations will use climate change to try and centralize their control, but they wan't you to believe it's "fake" because that plays directly into their hands. Leaked documents from Exon's own research team showed they knew about at predicted fossil fuel induced climate change as far back as the 60s and have spent hundreds of millions trying to lie about it with PR campaigns since then. It seems to be working. Their profits are only increasing and their all making bunkers in New Zealand

Being skeptical is great. Look into geo-engineering. That's the real climate change. In the US, a state department document called Owning the Weather by 2025 and in Canada, The Weather Modification Information Act.

It's hard to break away from the indoctrination of the "experts". Humans contribute 3% of c02 in the atmosphere... the other 97% is natural from the earth. You really think our 3% has caused the increase in the last 100 years? We will rise 1°c in the next 100 years. We deal with wide fluctuations of degrees on a daily basis. North America's emissions have been steadily declining the past few decades. Canadian forests absorb 3 times more carbon than we produce. The "experts" don't include that into their calculations... they are just trying to scare you into a more controlling government and new system of control. There is a higher chance this whole hysteria is that we passed peak oil and soon we will need more energy to extract the oil we will get out. Once the ratio is 1:1 energy in to output everything will collapse. Which is why governments have gotten so tyrannical and are pushing for the 2030 agenda. They are scaring you that is climate but it's really oil is running out and they need to be able to control the panic.

You should do a separate video for Vancouver island. You barely mentioned it. You should also discuss more city and town names that people should search when looking at property listings instead of just “these mountains” or “this valley”. Surprised you didn’t mention Terrace, Powell River, Port Alberni, or sayward. Also helps to include info like distance or travel time to nearest hospital or airport.
