Ramram,Nemeste. Aap ka explanation behut accha hai. Yeh 7-Segment display jo aap use karte hai, iska pin no. 3 aur 8 intern connect hain. Aap resistance sabd use karte this wrong, this must be resistor. Resistance aur resistor mein differance hai? Resistor woh hai jo aap DEKH aur CHU sakte hai. Restance aap srif MEASURE kar sakte hai. Capacitor aur capacitance ki liye bhi yeh lagu hai. Capacitor ek cheez hoti hai.

the only difference is one has to apply 5v other to the ground. no pin configuration is changed.

7447 par pin 8 ground (0V) hai aur pin 16 VCC (5V). Commom anode 7-segment par pin 3 ya pin 8 par +V. Common cathode par pin 3 ya pin 8 par ground (0V)

yes you can, +5V is vcc and negative is ground

1. check your 7 segment (common anode or cathode?) and use new IC 2. check you point thats should be common. 3. connection from IC to display reconnect

Same circuit configure kar rahee he but nHi ho raha hai

IC can be damaged due to voltage fluctuations and one of the other reasons is connecting wires' impedance and resistance is large
