Hi guys, can you make a video on what a consultant sees when he is first handed the B/S of a company. Like it could be in the per-view of IB and VC fund manager. What does the analysis look like and what new information does the executive need to seek? What all opportunity analysis do they do? Some ratios or financials they look at. Not only the B/S, but also inc statement and CF statement. Good content. Cheers.

Hello! For sure, I'll keep your comment in mind as we build our videocast pipeline. In fact, we'll have some videos in the future regarding how to build financial models, so hopefully, some of your questions will be answered there. Having said that, in management consulting, 95% of the time, you'll deal with income statements. If you're interested in a career in consulting and have to go through case interviews, you're not required to know Balance Sheets (BS) or Cash Flows (CF) in detail. We have a Finance 101 video and three financial statement samples in our Get the Offer course to help you understand the fundamentals of reading financial documents.
