My build is really similar. Stuffed my cheap lower with geissele goodies and put a bcm mk 2 lightweight bfh upper on it. I have the mcmr rail though. Don’t worry about the lower as long as all your pins are tight dude. All my lowers are “cheap” and I’ve never had a problem from my Aero’s/Ballistic Advantage, or even the psa lower on my Jakl. I’ve seen a kac lower with almost every hole out of spec or close to it… The bolt catch roll pin practically fell out… As long as it holds your goodies nice & tight it’s fine.

I’ve shot the PSA AAC 77gr OTM out of my BCM MK2 14.5” with okay results. Best group was 1.3 MOA at 100 yards using the PA GLX 1-10 LPVO. I think their BFH ELW barrel doesn’t like suppressors. (Heat)

Regarding glass, I’ve picked up 3 different Primary Arms GLX scopes. Amazing products. Even their SLx line is nice.

Put a foam earplug in the space on your lower under where the rear takedown goes through. Your upper and lower will be snug.

No need in getting another lower unless you want to put together another build. Put that cash into some glass or a suppressor. I have not shot the AAC 77gr 5.56 but I have shot AAC 220gr 300 BO OTM which worked great. Form4 wait times are great right now and you could get yourself a .300 BO upper to put on your lower and get yourself a can and you will have a nice do it all set up. .300 BO subsonic is ridiculously quiet. I grew up in WV and ticks were horrible.

As far as the 77gr ammo, you should try to get the "sierra matchking" version. What you showed here was the inhouse version of the AAC 77gr ammo. Its OK-ish but the 77gr SMK sold by AAC always shot better than their inhouse 77gr for me. Also you should record some shooting footage.

@@AppalachianSmokewagon Do you shoot at an outdoor range or do you go to an indoor range? If its an outdoor range you could get one of those little phone stand tripods or even a full size tripod(make sure it can hold a phone, I got one on Amazon and haven't even used it yet). Click on my profile and go to the shorts, look for the one titled ""took my 11.5 criterion sbr out to the 200m rifle range today" or "bcm 14.5 p&W AR15 w/mid length gas, sd3g, pa slx nova", both of those were fairly recently and both filmed with a little portable stand thing, its like a little miniature tripod thing and I just set it on the ground or on the bench or on a railing or whatever. Recently I got the real tripod and haven't even taken it out to the range to film. That thing was like $10, my real tripod was like $30-40? The real tripod is actually pretty nice too, seems sturdy and stable. I just haven't used it yet. Not trying to drive views to my channel, just trying to show you whats possible without spending much cash at all or even putting in much effort lol. Personally I want to learn how to edit so I can post some quality reviews. I shoot a lot. I love BCM stuff so please keep us posted on this rifle. I'm curious to see how well it will perform with some legit match grade ammo like Blackhills 77gr TMK.
