GGs I do have a quick question... How do you usually fair against valks and warriors? You seem to have really aggressive close up style of duelling. I am struggling against those two classes very much with my long distance playstyle (with 303 309 369). Any tips n' tricks?

Indeed I tend have a very melee/aggressive style. This is not the most efficient at all, but it is very enjoyable. However, it works good against those classes, mainly because a range gameplay doesn't work instead. At equalish gear, it is very hard to break their shield, so they just have to wait for their grab, rush you, try to grab and wait if they fail. So I prefer to stick with an aggressive gameplay to force them to commit an exploitable error (for example, a front guard that can be catched by meteor dive). To do that, you must bait their grab first. There are many many solutions, you can cancel S+E or Shift + A (awk) with Q/D + RMB. That way, they will see you charge something in super armor, sometimes thinking you are locked anim, and try to grab you, but you will into KD in their back with the roll. Do it at the right distance. If you're too close, they will grab you. If you're too far, they will have no time to grab you so they won't even try. There are of course many other way to bait the grab. Once they have no grab, you're almost free to do whatever you want. They have very little way to catch your back with a CC and you have far more protected CC than both of them. You just have to be careful with the warriors slow and the valks vaccum. Don't let them rest. If they just Q-block waiting their grab, hit them in their back as soon as you can to punish them. Once you are low on stamina, or you have used all your s, disengage to recover and use FG to avoid the spear > grab from the war or the celestial spear from the valk. Also be careful when you disengage against a valk, they can catch-up very fast and throw fast spear than can stiff you in the back. A little trick you can do to disengage while keeping an eye on the valk is to double click behind you in mouse to move. That way, you will do a backward dash and keep an eye on your foe. You can see it in the very first duel of the video. It is better to disengage with that first because this is an SA, keep Shift + S when you have already taken a little distance with them, to be sure they can't catch you in the back with a dash or because of a little desync. And remember, this kind of gameplay is very funny but not efficient in most of the cases. There are match-up that are even or good for archer that you'll lose that way. For example : Archer, witchzards, tamer, ranger (succ)...

@@mulapobla Thanks a lot for the response, I have been trying to do that but honestly valks with similar gear don't really need to engage untill they know you are low on stamina, even if you play really aggressively you won't nail down a 6k hp 309 309 370 dp valk without cc and they don't usually get cc'ed that easily when you fight the top guilds... Hell, I even struggle to take them down with a double cc if they fuck up somehow (303 309 369 full human dmg crystals apart from vipers elkars and corrupted)

Of course it is not easy, just easier. It is still a bad match up, and if you fight a bad match up with a similar gear and great pvp skills, you're dead more often than they are. And I do struggle to kill valkyrie too since the artifacts. That's part of the game that some classes counter others and you need to fight more or to be luckier to create an advantage. Most of the time you fail, but it makes the success greater :p
