1v1 is up to your class knowledge. Since her best cc relies on you knowing gaps and fg's of other classes. Not the best not the worst. If someone knows corsair and plays an sa heavy class you probably gonna struggle hard unless they give you openings to grab. The buffed grab certainly helps. Smallscale id say she can do fine just have kite well. And if left alone can dish out decent dmg She needs lots of bugfixes and some smaller adjustments to be on par with most rebooted classes. Shes fun when she works so just go for it. I went back to her knowing she isnt in the best state. Went back to my valk which i played for roughly 6 years. But got bored so hard so i finally quit her for good I will be swapping to evasion soon. As dr corsair is just way too squishy. Cant tell yet how good it is. Dmg most likely gonna lack quiet a bit. Even with dr it already wasnt close to other classes.

@@thylacine4375 always make sure to have your stam bare full before going into a fight. her stamina regen sucks she cant do long fights its just how it is. she has over 10 skills that cost stamina and even more that dont regen even if they dont cost any. ontop the stamina bug doesnt help the whole situation. so yea hope you get a breather from time to time and use mermaid skills correctly to somewhat savely regen

@@legacina7975 Hi I was looking for a strong ranged gunner class in BDO, my only options were Awak Corsair or Awak Berserker arm cannon. Which would u say is stronger atm and easier to play as?

@@greyb5511 Berserker is definitely stronger. even tho his ranged options are limited to like 2-3 skills. it feels like he can do more. if all you do is spam those 2-3 skills + mobility hes easy. difficulity on zerker was always to also be good in 1v1. but same can be said about corsair so yea. self heals. no stamina issues. 3 grabs. ranged. zerker is packed. awa corsair is a lot of fun. and feels less clunky than zerker. just try both. just know that corsair isnt really high up on the tier list atm.

Would need to test if maybe urugon leebur is better than muskan leebur. but doubt it. some classes will shred you regardless. If youre currently on a dr build and want at least some tankyness you can run the hybrid setup til you decide to swap to eva. it provides a lot more tankyness than pure dr.

@@legacina7975 I worry about going either dr, much more going eva has diminishing returns. As eva will most likely do crap damage and/or will lack accuracy. Also, I think for a class with many eva buffs/passives like this, going for more eva would be probably much of an overkill, unless you're going against high accu classes like dk, musa. Am I correct?

@@sleepynier371 the more evasion the better. its good to have some dr. but in the end you scale up with evasion. cause of all the passive, buffs and ontop we have that 12% acc debuff. but yea. you need gear to still deal decent dmg on evasion. and in the end the class itself has still kinda mediocre dmg. so nothing you can fix with just gear anyway.

Yea they got the stick on a daily basis. Just sucked that there was no ignore res stuff and all those cunts ran 80% kd. So half the damn ccs missed. Wouldve farmed them even harder cause corsair was op back then

@@zer0veledits underrated. At my gear it feels pretty good. Fairly tanky. Rly annoying to catch. Dmg is enough to onecombo a lot of people. 100% bsr is a big gamechanger. Just got even more buffs that were ment for pve but gonna be nice for pvp too. T2-3 caps she feels really good too. Anchor slaps as hard as pre rework. Pve at high end was already decent. Should be close to S tier now. If you put in the effort. Should at least. The pve buffs seem quiet big Tldr awak is good. But i guess shes still kinda gear reliant on uncapped content. Hard for me to tell how she feels at like 690-700gs

@@legacina7975 Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain, I mained her on release for quite sometime but they brought the class so low that just made me feel tired and burnt out after a certain point, even though I liked her succession on release the moment I saw her awakening I was sold and made up my mind to main her and based on what you are telling me now I feel like giving her another try would be the right choice even though I'm waiting for the Twins to get their awakening I might roll back to Corsair since I always loved the class and I guess just tag a twin later on, thanks again for the detailed explaination I appreciate it.

@@zer0veledits id recommend eva build tho. Since on dr youre gonna be quiet limited to ranged. But everyone their own. Would especially give t2-3 a shot if youre gear isnt ready

I hope you started the game on a Season character. gives you decent early game gear that you can convert into boss armor pieces later on (tho you should look up how that works ive never done that Season stuff so cant help you there) Once youve done that and converted to boss armors you have 2 options in both the Armor and Helmet stay the same One way is Damage reduction, the other Evasion DR = Urugon + Bhegs + Nouver Evasion = Muskans + Leeburs + Kutum i could throw a huge ass wall at you explaining everything else. but if youre completely new to BDO it will sound like gibberish. so id recommend looking up guides. they show you stuff in way better detail on how to progress early game. Just my quick Tldr for now: Go DR Gear. And Late game (unless you wanna stay a Glass canon) you need kutum to get tankier

Well with how much love archer gets you better of sticking to him. If all you want is range and kiting. Archer does is it as good as corsair while actually dealing dmg Pros of corsair Fun to play Can kite well Decent 1v1 potential thanks to people being oblivious to corsairs strongest cc sea mist Even with a budget hybrid build you can get quiet tanky. Full eva should be strong but you lose even more dmg that she already doesnt have. But in my opinion its the way to go on her nowadays. Embrace the tankyness. You cant onecombo lots of tanky people. at least this way you can play aggressive and get a 2nd cc off faster. And even if you get cc'd you shouldnt die easily either. (Talking 401dp + with the right setup) Cons: Bit on the slower side Lots and lots of gamebreaking bugs they refuse to fix Avg, slightly below avg pve Stamina problems Lowest range out of all the ranged classes Comparably low dmg, looking at other reboots its quiet depressing. If you go full human dmg youre better off going ranger archer. Cause she will also be very squishy So yea. Shes tons of fun. Thats why i went back to her. Enjoyed every minute on her until reboots destroyed her. Went back to my 6y old main just to full rr back to corsair few months later. And been having way more fun. But im also 710 gs so i outgear a lot of people so could blame my gear for it being bearable to play They been giving some decent buffs last 2 months but far from enough. And as long as all the bugs exist it will struggle no matter what.

The float into kick that does air dmg is 10% bsr yea. The stealth nerf on the ds was just retarded. They shouldve rather removed ds on anchor flow and lmb flow and make lmb flow fg.

I still need 3-4 skills even vs gearlets eventho im 310k ap Whats triggering is that they removed it and didnt say anything in the patch. As always minimal buffs. Ontop couple more bugs and a stealth nerf cause class wasnt fucked enough

@@legacina7975 if they remove that ds they should buff her dmg cause she's a combo class and can't combo cause the ds. Her all awakening kit is ds on last hits and you can't apply ds whatever you want because of the kit

@@legacina7975 and i wish they make shift f flow is a seperate skill that can be cast on hot bar cause she's CC's are mostly starting with stun and therefore you have the keep your enemy longer on ground

@@shichen7495 its what i ran until now too. It does more dmg than eva build yea. But the dmg is still tragic compared to other classes on the same gear lvl. She fell back on reboots hard all the bugs she has makes it even worse. Before reboots i blew people up in no time like in the video with just 297 ap Now im 310 and i need full combos for so many people. Or they just survive. Shes tanky thanks to eva buffs etc and acc debuffs so id say eva is still better in the end. If you wanna go glass cannon just play ranger... At least youre not out of skils after using 4 seconds. Couldnt fully test eva yet sadly cause im missing jin harphias. But already tried it with just 1k evasio and it already feels tankier.
