I was gonna take BDO seriously after leaving lawschool, My goal was to pen all the BIS accessories, but after watching this video, I think I'll go for my doctoral instead. This kind of PAIN hurts your body, mind, and soul. Thank you for tanking this insight that I don't need to experience.

To be fair PA didn't do this, you don't have to get a pen debo belt for anything in this game. This is just going for that 0.1% gear glory. Stats are pretty hardcapped these days, enhancing is just a side option for those wanting to risk a fast-track or get that trophy bonus stats that have huge diminishing returns and no real impact. That's actually good design.

actually different servers have different cron costs cuz the costumes are priced different on TW it's closer to 1.44 mil per cron on KR I think it's something like 1.8mil per cron cuz they have most expensive costumes (1bil+)

BDO's RNG is craaaaaaazzzzyy. First time to see a game where enhancing can drive a player mad. 90% success rate even fails. I stopped playing the game after around 1k hours when reality slapped me hard that the game will just consume my sanity.

This is why I don't mess with accesories no more. I almost quit bdo totally because of this kind of bullshit enhancing rng. I have lost way to much that I worked so hard for and it is now all gone. I barely even grind at all and really hate the solo pve grind. It took me over a year to break the 560 gs. Now stuck at 584 unless I do the cheap way juntina quest.

the trick is to buy a pen debo belt first so that the system would think that it will fuck you up by giving you another one but little did they know enhancing a pen is what you want all along..
