I have worked as a consultant to numerous multi-billion dollar companies. My area of specialization is in performance modelling (i.e., replicating and training the strategies of people who are extraordinarily good at producing outstanding results). I once conducted an in-depth study of individuals who have accomplished incredible things in relatively short periods of time. The people I studied ranged from individuals like Alexander the Great to modern entrepreneurs, such as Richard Branson. Although I cannot provide the results of everything I discovered, the main thing I will say is that great achievers view their time constantly as an investment of resources and they see things in terms of their relevance, rather than their importance.

What do you mean by an investment of resources? Thanks.

@@fictionincorporated Put simply, what you put your time, effort, and money into. For example, if you spend your time watching Tik Tok videos, that is still an investment of your time (albeit, probably a very poor one). You can't help but invest your time--in fact, you are doing it right now, as you read this comment. The question is (and it's the primary question super-successful people ask themselves all the time), "Is this the most relevant use of my time?" In other words, "Is this investment of my time going to produce a high return with regard to the achievement of my highest goals?"

Thankyou for these lessons: Time as an Investment: Adopt the mindset that your time is a valuable resource to invest wisely. Great achievers constantly view their time as an investment of resources, emphasizing the importance of using time effectively. Focus on Relevance: Prioritize tasks and activities based on their relevance rather than their perceived importance. Understanding the significance of tasks in the context of your goals and outcomes can enhance your productivity. Resource Allocation: Embrace the idea that resourceful time usage is a key to success. Allocate your time to tasks that have the most impact and contribute directly to your objectives. Efficient Mindset: Great achievers see things in terms of their relevance, indicating an efficient mindset. This mindset can help you eliminate tasks that don't contribute significantly to your goals and focus on what matters most.

Before Einstein was born Samuel Trevor Preston had the E=mc^2. And an Italian scientist Olinto De Pretto published E=mc^2 in Italy in 1903 - two years before Einstein. What does it tell you?

Interesting he picked Sunday instead of Friday/Saturday since he was Jewish. I wonder if he was a messianic Jew. 😊
