I was delighted to see that you have recorded the audio of this book. I bought the book in a book shop in Tiruvannamalai, India in Feb. 2020 and have been reading a little bit everyday since. Now I also turn on your recordings at night. Thank you! He says Live according to the Guru word (your Consciousness is the Guru.... other words (pointers) Pure Brahman, Paramatman, Knowledge you are. Pure Consciousness.) On page 127 "You are the subtle consciousness that has become the world." "Whereever you are, there is everything." "Whatever is, that you are. There is nothing else."

Dwelling as and identifying as consciousness, and then seeing it everywhere as being/consciousness/bliss is not the final goal. The perfect Absolute beyond being and non-being, from which the raw I Am spontaneously appeared and gave rise to all of existence, is what we are. Your consciousness, your pure objectless awareness, will not last - as he says. The impersonal Absolute beyond bliss and being is truly eternal. That is everything. The most real.

@@ibperson7765 Yes Charles, but the dwelling in the I Am presence is what will take you there of its own accord. In Christian terms “I and the Father are one,” yet it is the Father who does the works.

Christ also said to us: “Remain in Me As I also remain in you” John 15:4 And “As the Father has loved Me I also have loved you. Abide in My Love.” 15:9 And as far as taking there of It’s own accord: “Believe me when I say that I am in the Father And the Father is in Me” It’s all the same thing in a way. All four verses. All those always felt meaningful but never knew what I was feeling. That said, I dont mean to say is all figured out and triangulated and in a box. Is a living mystery. Just a very helpful connection thanks again

42:20 Im aware it may seem bold to comment on the Maharaj, but this is true nonetheless: He is mistaking sat-chit-ananda for something else here. The chit (consciousness) is actually equal to what Nisargadatta calls “the light of awareness” or rays of the Absolute. It is utterly identityless, not dependant on I-am’ness (consciousness), even though it has the word chit. Most of the Advaita folk would call Nisargadatta’s “consciousness” as “awareness”. To them, Chit is the more fundamental of the two. Im not disagreeing w his description of reality and frankly never would, just his understanding of what others mean by sat-chit-ananda. That said, I prefer his terms much better. Calling chit “consciousness” has always seemed completely wrong to me.
