We have dancers who have taken World 1 and members who write lyrics and music. Their music will surely entertain you. Check out their latest title tracks 'Master Plan' and 'Mainstream'. I agree, this is such an incredible collaboration! They really feel like equals, no one is overshadowed, everyone showed their strengths and colors, the song is a trilingual bop, the video made so cool like a movie, and the message is great! And I'm glad ATEEZ introduced me to BE:FIRST this way, def going to look them up sometime, a few of their vocalists stood out to me already, one of them matched so well with Jongho's tone! And omg, Wooyoung truly shines here with his unique vocals! Same for Yunho. Hongjoong killed me as well rigth at the beginning whispering "Ateez", and Mingi finished me with "fix on" haha. San, Seonghwa and Yeosang also had their impactful moments and their visuals is out of this world as always. I am so, so happy with this release!! Glad you watched it too, Caitlin, your reaction is so relatable and funny!

They have no leader, no positions (they ALL are the main singer \dancer apper) You REALLY, REALLY need to watch how they became Be:First!! Their whole story is on KZfaq... pretty sure you meant a "J"pop group lol and they do have positions lol Sota is the main dancer/rapper, Junon is the Main vocal, manato & shunto are lead vocals, ryoki is sub vocal/rapper and ryuhei is youngest/vocal/dancer and Leo would be the unofficial leader lol

When I saw it came out I was like: what? Why? How? Because I know be:first- they are my favourite j-pop group now (I heard their song gifted and frll in love with their vocals and the eay they are dancing). And ateez is not even a question I love them from their begging, so I was really surprised to see yhis collab. And I love it that it's sounds sooooo good

And yes Caitlyn you’re right. Ryoki is in this group. Also if you remember that song Just Breathe from a couple years back, that’s their CEO Sky-Hi that collaborated with SKZ. As to how how Ateez and Be:First know each other, they’re on a dance show called D.U.N.K. Which was made by Sky-Hi.

Thank you for introducing this music video. I am so happy to see a K-pop boy group and a Japanese pop boy group collaborating together. I highly recommend watching BeFirst's “Mainstream” and “Masterplan”. Sota, who is a member of BeFirst, sings rap in a deep voice in this music videos. He is a top-level dancer and choreographer in Japan, and he choreographed their dances, blending popping and hip-hop in a very unique style. BeFirst is produced by SKY-HI, who also has a collaborative project called D.U.N.K., which featured a live event with Ateez last year. SKY-HI is a genius at artist collaborations. Additionally, SKY-HI produced Mazzel last year. They are an amazing group as well. I recommend you watch their songs “Counterattack” and “Parade”.

I discovered Be:First thru D.U.N.K. while watching Ateez. So they've known each other for a while. This song was executive produced by Sky-Hi who was also at D.U.N.K. Riehata, who choreographed Pirate King, choreographed this piece too. Amazing collab by great talents for sure. Edenary, Sky-Hi, HJ and Mingi all wrote the song.
