There is no bad Be'Lakor album. The Frail Tide, amazing. Stone's Reach, outstanding. Of Breath and Bone, perfect. Vessels, phenomenal.

I don't know, they have 3 other albums that are at this level. My favorite of them is Of Breath and Bone, but they're all awesome this one included. Not one bad song.

6:30 and beyond is my favorite part of the album. Beautiful. Love when he says 'Rearing up' at 6:45. I knew right when I heard this album, I was in love with this band. Had never heard of them before, easily some of the best melo death I've ever laid my ears upon. Can't stop listening.

Listened to 'Of Breath and Bone' and thought it a stand-out for the year. But this one just blows me away everytime. The songs are just so satisfying on so many levels. Where do you go after Opeth? You found it brother... Stay heavy, evolve, and please keep em' coming guys!

As much as I love Of Breath and Bone, I think I'm in a minority of believing this is their pinnacle album. At the end of the day, though, what does it matter? Every damn album they make is phenomenal. But FFS Countless Skies is an absolute perfect finale song. In the history of endings I've heard to any album, THAT one is fucking not just flawless, but the bar to break.

It's because of the keyboards perfectly mixed in. They are almost impossible to hear behind the band. It gives the sound a lot of depth.

Yes! :D But also check out Persefone's "Core" album, it's the best I've ever heard, they must not miss in this list ;D And check Ne Obliviscaris (they come from the same town as Be'lakor, but only made 1 (quite famous) album yet).

People who enjoy metal are metalheads. There is no such thing as real metalhead. Metal doesn't consist only in growlings. You don't have to like all the genres in order to be a metalhead. Just relax and enjoy the music without bashing the others. :)

Not at all... Amon Amarth is straight forward. Just like heavy metal with growls. Be'lakor in epicness, atmosphere, unpredictable riffs and fills all over the place and most of all: melancholy.

Unfortunately, it's just another candidate of those MeloDeathers in the category "great music, ruined by boring vocals / toothless growls". Each album of Be'lakor would be a worthy awardee, I guess...
