i am so sad that i never got the chance to see this wonderful, beautiful musical, but it will forever live on in my heart. it may have ended but joe is right, this doesn’t feel like the end, it feels like the beginning of a revolution. these actors and characters are so amazing and i couldn’t ask for anything more. sending so much love to them ❤️ edit: as soon as the goodbye song started playing, i started crying. god these amazing people can never be replaced and i don’t know what we did to deserve them

I’m feeling so many things right now. It’s such an impactful show, and I love each and every being involved with this show. They’re all such wonderful and inspirational people, and my heart is filled with love for them and all their work. As much as I hate to say it, BMC’s closed, but you can bet that it’s going to keep living on in all of our hearts. And crying, a lot of crying as well. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!

That was so amazing. All of it. The song the speech, all of it! I need that speech on a wall somewhere. I’m so happy this show became a reality and I’m so happy it at least lasted this long. Also did we all see that ass smack George to Will? Or are we just gonna ignore that??? Edit: I am so sad I never got to see this musical. As soon as the song started I started bawling my eyes out😭😭😭

I was there and the theatre was so - electric! The post show hang was beautiful and emotional. Love them all! (Btw..I knew 2 of the 5 who knew nothing about the show. They loved it!) 💜💚

I’m really sad it’s over and that I never got to see it in real life, but the memory will still move on. Goodbye Be More Chill! We’ll miss you. Edit: Please listen to this with headphones. It makes the experience 10 times better.

I’m in the bathroom, sniffing and balling my eyes out. I love be more chill sm and the cast and all the amazing people who worked on the show. Bmc is my favourite musical of all time because everyone is so amazing and loving and just the best like if i never had heard of these people or this musical i don’t know what i would do x How could u not love everything about Be More Chill? I’m so proud of everyone and so sad it had to go but I love this community and *-george-* everyone *_but george especially_* Everyone is so accepting and understanding and i’m so proud of you Joe and everyone who did so much work to put this all together and I’m so proud of the cast for just being amazing and I don’t know how y’all do it but yous are just amazing ❤️ This will always be my favourite musical

I hadn’t heard “The Goodbye Song” before, so when the song started I assumed the song was written for the closing of the show. Then, I heard the “you know how to ride a bike now” line, realized what the song was originally about, and at that point, I thought of both my children and my Mom who passed away 27 years ago, and I couldn’t stop crying. ( BTW, I only discovered “Be More Chill” about 2 weeks ago, after I watched Everything Everywhere All at Once”, and did A deep dive on Stephanie Hsu. I’m glad these bootlegs exist. )

i still do not get how this show is already closing when demand is what brought it to broadway in the first place. also, who is the girl with the mohawk type hair who somehow manages to be in front of the actual cast by the end?! also again, they are not really married, are they??

Lauren and Joe have been married for a while- idk who the girl with the mohawk is. I was thinking the same thing, but like he said so many people helped him get to this moment.

Alright after watching different videos of "The Goodbye Song" (ones without the BMC cast), the mohawk girl seems to be part of the original group, known as "The Family", that sings this along with Jason "SweetTooth" Williams and Joe Iconis himself. Her higher pitched "AHHH" is easily heard and can even be spotted in one of the videos with her current mohawk. So there we go, that explains why Jason gives her like a pat in the back when she jumps to the front and why she ended up there in the first place, she deserves to be.

@@claddagh1826 but she wasn't pushing. She's clearly good friends with Joe and Lauren. Lauren probably willingly let her get in front of them since this isn't the BMC cast's song, this is Joe, Jason, and The Family's song. THEY deserve to be up front.
