Compassion is not the source of an ENTPs power but it is the vehicle to attain it. The source is empathy from others and validation of their worth. It’s only the gateway to learning.

How interesting. I've spent the longest time trying to acquire validation of my worth and now that I received it, I've become mega-compassionate and feel free to finally move on to being generative.

well explained Chase, I loved it! ive realized two powerful insights; *_First; We get hurt by our living virtue, so we balance it with the deadly sin._* Like ENTPs get hurt more with compassion to others than being accepted and loved, so they go "Rogue" ;P and use the Envy to grow themselves and lift themselves up. You've been hurt in your life, and the hurt went around to others as well, the suffering doesnt go to waste ❤ *_Second; With the living virtue (and the ego virtue), we must TAME the deadly sin (and the ego vice) to GENERATE power._* Maybe its a nuanced and delicate balance between two poles that everyone has to overcome by transcending it. Maybe it's not a matter of left or right, but how ABOVE you can go. I have lost opportunities with my "humility" and people pleasing as I kept myself away from speaking up or acting the way I want to act, also I have hurt others with my pride coming out and shoving down my "help" and thoughts down others' throats. Since I started to COMBINE these two, a pride comfortable with being humiliated, I started to bond to others instead of covert contracting them. (guess reading and acting on Robert Glover's No More Mr.Nice Guy helps!) This model's quality is that it's "holistic". I appreciate it Chase.

Woooow until like a year ago i used to constantly say precisely that "my life is cursed. i am sisyphus. Forever pushing a stone uphill and getting nowhere. All my hard work and effort is pointless. Maybe other people can achieve something great with their life but pattern-recognition proves i cant so why bother? I don't even know who I am or what's true. I know nothing. What is there to suffer for? " and I was feeling suicidal. A year ago I made a drastic change leaving my old life behind and involving myself with a person who let me be me. I'm now slowly gaining momentum towards becoming one of those people I've envied for so long, and yes, Chase is on that list now. :) I'm a slow learner... 35 years and just getting started thanks to the right association and the typology community.

1.Jealousy is one of the two torments. 2. Jealousy is the viler of the two evils. 3. Jealousy is a serious infection; it doesn’t end except by the devastation of the envier or the demise of the envied. 4. Jealousy destroys great deeds only like fire devours kindling. 5. Jealousy is a dishonourable blemish and a gross insufficiency; one who has it isn’t restored with the exception of by understanding his expectations about the one whom he begrudges. Imam Ali a. s.

I'm not an Acolyte member so if anyone likes this question and wants to ask (ENTPs) would be wonderful: - How as an ENTP in the work market (you ENTP being the manager or a high position, but coming from the lowest position in the company) handle the lack of wanting to hardworking from other people? Now that I'm in a highest position I find extremely hard to not get pissed off by the lack of commitment from people... I'm trying really hard to select those I see fit, but I caught myself getting in really bad mood sometimes when people just don't want to work hard as me. Thank you!
@00Klingon
@00Klingon Жыл бұрын
I'm curious, are you upset people aren't getting results or upset that people aren't showing they are working as hard as you? Are you more worried about the appearance of commitment or are they doing exactly what you both agreed to? If the former, the problem may be that you aren't communicating your expectations (covert contracting) and it might be worth asking yourself if that is really what you want. If the latter, then you're getting what you bargained for and a fair deal, if not then you're being taken advantage of and probably justified in your feelings. As a leader, you're only as good as the people you have working for you, but as the visionary, you'll rarely find anyone more committed to the cause than you.

Healthy ENTP'S don't have envy for others they can have compassion for others if they have strong Fe so it can be done I think as an INTP I see the possibilities and potential that a person can develop good qualities. Ne is the function that has helped me to understand other types I love learning about what makes a person the way they are . NTP'S and SFP'S also NFP'S they can also be more open to wanting to understand other types .I think all types can develop envy it's a human emotion not just ENTP'S .

God damn it Chase, you don’t need to turn people into narcissist. ENTPs please understand that there is a better way to finding discipline and determination and that comes from love. It can only come from an INFJ but yes they are not easy to come by and this might leave you disillusioned but they exist. Turning to envy is the last thing you should depend on.

But once you lean into your envy, you start pouring hatred in your heart. So at a point you must switch your focus from uf to sf or you will mistreat the people you envy and just parasitically transmute the envy into motivation. But with all the power in the world, what's the point if you're a tyrant. In the end you will hate yourself. So yes, at some point you must enter the abyss to obtain power but don't spend too much time there or you won't ever leave.

@@CSJoseph @C.S. Joseph Very true, you do need someone to help you heal. Hmm, which type is called the healer? I believe the Infp. Only if there was a competent infp that could help. But it would be ideal if that infp had their super ego developed to help fix a person pragmatically combined with the emotional insight of the ego, along with the other sides of the mind. Only if there was an integrated Infp that knew this system substantiately (Estj sub has the highest aptitude for mastering any system) was also on discord. But surely that person doesn't exist, right? But if he did exist, would your envy for him let you ask for help from him?
