@@mulberry182is there a reason their movements aren’t as wild as this today? Does it have to do with air pressure? Or do these energetic movements take a toll on the mechanisms? Aaron’s show is always in pristine condition, but they never move like this these days.

@@Joe-Nathan It's a lot of things I think. The very very early shows (I think the first 6?) were kind of build like crap and got damaged very easily. They still went relatively fast throughout the 80s but not as fast as this. They slowed down the adjustments by a landslide in the early-mid 90s after Showbiz. Aaron says that nowadays the adjustments are slower because it makes them last longer without needing repairs. A lot of people don't like it but I think it's more about how the show is programmed according to the movements. For example, I think Showbiz-era shows look pretty terrible on Aarons show a lot of the time, but they look great on faster private shows. Whereas a lot of 90s shows look bad on the faster shows. sorry for typing so much lmfao im such a geek

@@Joe-Nathan not really, aaron said it’s about the condition of the bots. which coming from a perspective of them running in a restaurant daily makes sense. but a lot of private show owners keep them fast because they aren’t running them daily, therefore they won’t need as many repairs. hope that makes sense!! i’m not an expert this is just what i’ve gathered over the years lol

@House Owner They actually did operate at a higher PSI back in the Showbiz and PTT Days though. CEC and most other Rock-Afire shows have had the PSI turned down though for lower-maintenance, which is why when you see Aarons show performing one of these earlier showtapes, the programming and movement looks off

Yeah, they originally used brass C&V air cylinders on some of the movements before they switched to Chicago air cylinders. While the brass C&V cylinders were able to handle quite the speed, they added extra weight since they're heavier than the current Chicago air cylinders.

Alright, I love and appreciate Aaron but I prefer Rick Bailey Beach Bear. Although, Aaron's Beach Bear is growing on me just because it's so funny. It's hilarious because Aaron has a more high pitched voice and he's just trying so hard. Still love you tho Aaron

I know some people Love Rick Bailey (including me) as Beach Bear but I also like his original voice done by Aaron. It's probably because I love Wolf Pack 5 Beach Bear so much and he practically has the same voice. Thought WP5 Beach Bear is a little deeper and meant to make him sound more dumb. Also this sounds so painful for a human to make from their vocal cords 1:14 Edit: I just realized this video is a couple days younger than me 😭
