Edward have you ever thought about adding the extension to the back of your Jeep I think it's about 12in or something like that, and there's a rooftop tent and you can enter the tent from the inside of the Jeep.

I have, but I can't justify the cost of doing it. Plus, I don't think I want to worsen the departure angle by adding that length

Very cool. I've never done sand dunes camping, adding to my list this year. BTW I've seen on lifestyleoverland use a grill top on those fire pits. I use mine for cooking as well. Love the channel man
