At DEKAFOK we are a non-profit organization that protects sea turtles on Manavgat beach. They also look after the protected sand lilies and seals that occur in that area.
Every month Erik and Joke help to collect the waste collected on the beach by the DEKAFOK volunteers in large plastic bags on the beach and deliver it to the Turtle Center so that the municipality can dispose of it.
This time too things don't go entirely according to plan and even with the 4 wheel drive we sometimes get stuck in the loose beach sand.

When the work is finished we will travel again, this time to Cappadocia, a beautiful area about 450 kilometers from our home. We expect rain and snow and we leave our Donkeymobile at home and go with the Fiat Doblo.
The hotel is very special and in the evening we go for Chinese food, which is something different!
