I could feel your excitement when you found the Lion’s Paw 🤩 whispered freak-out to full blown screaming, I think you captured the very essence of being a sheller with their new favourite find! You can’t keep that bottle up inside; I was glad to share the excitement with you! I also loved that big handful of Scaly Scallops right at the end, wow, they are all SO red! What a wonderful trip ❤️

Awww Maddie thx for watching! It was so amazing; yes as you well know those feelings will just spill out! I had to lower the decibel volume on the screams in 2 places on that clip LOL!!! ❤ I had to just stop picking up the Scaly Scallops at one point -just too many. That was a great trip indeed 👍🏼🐚

Thank you so much! I am very thankful for all that He has allowed me to find. I pray every time I hit the beach that if there is something amazing to find I can find it or someone else there can to brighten my/their day. I thought of that too but I know there will be no such thing as death there-as death will be finished. Sooooo?!?!? I’m reminded of 1 Cor. 2:9 “But it is just as the Scriptures say, ‘What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!’” Which makes me think that there is something even “better“ than shelling???? (how lol) crazy awesome thought ❤️ Blessings to you too!

Congrats on the Lions Paw! It is an amazing specimen! Hard to believe any shells make it whole on the beach with how rough that surf is and the amount of shellers on those beaches! Love your enthusiasm! Contagious!

I think for me at least it's like 50/50 finding shells or not going to east coast beaches with each trip but when it rains it pours as in good finds! Like the good shells chase each other lol. Thank you for watching and your complement! Blessings!

Oh thank you for watching-such an amazing moment finding that paw ❤ I hope you’ll find one too 🙏🏼 To be shelling for 50 years is such a blessing!! From my best friend and I (who is an avid sheller too) the best places to find them is Keewaydin Island, Kice Island, South Lido beach (snorkeling there) & Lighthouse Beach in Sanibel. I know there are several other places but those from “my experience” are on point places. Anyways, just prayed for you. Take care.

@@FloridaBeachWalks how very kind of you!! My first trip to Sanibel was in utero and then many trips with many loves in life ... finally with husband, and last time there, during a hurricane in 2016. Did that one dredge up some yummy stuff on Lighthouse beach! We were standing in water at shoreline just pulling out gorgeous empties and tossing on shore to people including the most exquisite red true tulip which is my fav to date. I have two adult children with special needs - heart issues and severe autism - in my care, so I am only able to take a day trip to NJ beaches off season. My peace. I am now in love with moonsnails and ... broken, beautiful pieces -- spiral, eyes, crowns. I have a lampful from last trip to Sanibel. Broken and beautiful. Seems to be a running theme in my life. Keep making videos for us. Your adventures on my 55" TV screen are wonderful and my only vacations these days.

I have a few videos coming up there too that I will share soon-my son (who has ADHD and the beach is so good for him) found a honey hole after a storm and pulled out a very red tulip too…unbelievable! I told him keep digging lol. I got the best tulips from that beach that day and will have an episode of that soon! Hope you have a great day!

Wow, great finds, and that paw is especially beautiful. But great moon snails, scaly scallops, coral, etc! I've never been to Ft Pierce. Did you access the area south of the inlet from the state park, or did you drive to another parking lot? I was on the state park website, and was surprised to see it is just 1/2 mile of beach? It's about 2 1/2 hr drive for me, but still doable...!

Thank you for watching! That paw has a special place in my heart ❤️ I drove to another place after the inlet state park south. I was on North Hutchinson island south of the actual inlet stare park but still in Fort Pierce. Yeah the state park itself doesn't have a huge stretch of beach but there are only residential houses north at the inlet so you can walk pretty far north for a good walk at the state park. Yeah, driving is no issue with me anymore lol I drive anywhere from 40 minutes to 2hrs just about every week to shell 🐚

Thank you for that info! I and don't mind driving, but once I hit about 3 hours, I figure I had better stay overnite somewhere, since 6 hours of driving plus shelling is a little much for me! I'm up in Ormond Beach, and I love finding out about the beaches on our coast to the south of me that actually have lots of shells fairly consistently. @@FloridaBeachWalks

Oh great; thank you! I'll look it up. The books I have picture what the corals look like alive under the water so it's hard to ID. I wish there was a book or website that was comprehensive with a photo of both alive AND dried up. Thx for watching and giving me a name to research! Take care!
