G'day folks. Well we're on a little weekend adventure and I get to try out the Minelab Manticore 15 inch coil on the beach to see how deep it punches. Plus a little extra detecting back with the trusty manticore and M8 (mate) coil.

I can see the advantage of the 15" coil, but in soil you can dig that deep. Looked like a good weekend away. Thank you for the video.

I know I'm tired, but I had to rub my eyes a few times before I could believe this was (mostly) a beach video! Nice. Of course you would find a fastener/adjuster of some description 😂 Seeing all this scenic footage from a vehicle makes me want go to for a drive... Catch you when I do. 😉

Seems to have thrown a few people. Wayne’s comment is a ripper. I couldn’t believe it either when I found the fastener and what it was off. Anywhere I go 🤣🤣🤣. Well if you get the urge after seeing the scenic footage you better run with it. Just drive safe 😉😁👍

Variety is the spice of life as they say. Digging 15 in deep holes is a lot easier in the sand than it is in the fields. Also episode as always, Andrew. Really looking forward to seeing you later on in the year at Detectival. 😊

Gday Craig. Yes it is easier to dig on the beach but frustrating closer to the water as the hole keeps filling in. We are both looking forward to coming over. Will be great to catch up with you all there. Only about 5 months. Woohoo 🦘🦘😁👍

Hey Andrew, a bit of a change at the beach? People think beach hunting is so easy because we can use a scoop. Well, we know better. Sometimes it takes us longer to get home because we can’t help but hunt along the way. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure… John

Thanks for sharing another great adventure. It was a little bit quiet on the finds but how calming are those waves coming in. I haven’t tried the Manticore at the beach as yet, I only make one trip to the coast yearly around Christmas time but will certainly try it out when I get there. Living in northern Victoria I have had some very nice finds with the mighty Manticore. Thanks for sharing Andrew.⛏️⛏️👍

Enjoyable vistas! I was worried there'd be a distressed damsel missing her fastener amongst the coastal euphorbia you'd filmed! Corset wasn't! On your unbidden large nugget gift of clue, branch and spurs! Choo, choo, chi-boogie rode on horseback, jinker or brass era awooga to the rail line temporary stop, sovereigns, out did drop! Ours to you, the paddle steamers "Ozone" and "Hygaea" similarly made runs around the bay with stops routine and impromptu, like the country trains. No obvious signs of stations, although such machines are thirsty, for fresh water,cand that requires that type of infrastructure familiar only to those who know what it's for! Big hose fittings!

Gday Gabi. Couldn’t believe I would find a strap adjuster but then it was so right that I would. Where the station was I a nice place to find something. Grass is long in spots and I can’t get in. One day it will be short. Thanks for the comments and watching. Take care mate 😁👍

Going on the beach this Wednesday. Wish me luck 🤗. Bit of the rest from gold detecting with my Z , find 6 little nuggets for 0.6 grams but it's nice to change the gear and go metal detecting. God I love this hobby 😊

@@TheCoffeeBushKid got a few on just a old dirt road seen grader again doing a Sunday work state Forrest 32km either side of road had a 3 foot plus mound of dirt softer than beach 🏖. WINNER 🥇 THAT.

Nice day out Andrew just wondered how the Manticore is for underwater work ,I didn't trust the Nox 800 as it failed for some friends

Gday Glenno. The manticore is waterproof to 5m and they have a 3 year warranty so if anything went wrong you would send it back for repair. Haven’t heard of any failing. 😁👍

I thought I may have slipped into an alternate version of earth, I was tuning in to watch The Coffee Bush Kid, out in the middle of the goldfields somewhere, Amongst the Coffee Bush! But suddenly I see him kneeling on the sand with the surf rolling in behind him. What's going on! I thought! And just last night, Dirt Fish Mish was out in the Goldfields! 😳😱 Was CBK now the Surf and Turf Kid? And was DFM now Gold Fish Mish! I almost went into panic mode. But a sudden realisation and calmness returned to me with your words, "Weekend away" and "Heading home" The world was as it should be, I sat back and smiled to myself, And thought, Wayne! Your a bloody idiot! Sorry Andrew, Viv I'll take my pills now, but first I must set a mouse trap, it seems I have unwanted visitors, Cheers!
