Yeah the wind always seems to be a huge issue down there....Sounds like Mt Gambier is a must when down that way....Beach rides are always great to do. Thank you for sharing guys. Awesome

It was the same for us, especially on the coast must be the ocean weather blowing in. Definitely would recommend Mt Gambier when you're down that way again. Thanks Mark! 😁

I did Mount Gambier to Adelaide in 1 day and agree it was a LONG! ride and day trying to sight see along the way. I also have the D605 tyres put on in Adelaide and found it pretty good but does wear fast and heard similar from other riders

We had the same experience with the D605 they were good in the dirt when new but wore out so quick we were worried they wouldn't make it to Darwin! The E07 is our go to tyre now. And yeah if we did that ride again we'd split it over a couple of days. Cheers

This was one of my favourite episodes! Such a fun vibe with the montage and you can see how relaxed you guys are in front of the camera. Also! What did you think of the tyre switch? I prefer the mitas e07. I found the dunlops made riding really wobbly on the highways. Can’t wait for the next one! One of the best legs coming up into Darwin!!!!

Thanks mate!! Glad it came across that way cause it didn't feel comfortable at the time 😂 The tyres were good in the dirt when they were fresh but the highway chewed through them super quick, we switched back to the mitas afterwards.

What went wrong with the drone shots, hope you got it sorted out for the rest of the trip, we would hate to miss out of drone shots from Adelaide to Darwin..

We thought we'd give 'DJI active track' another try after doing a firmware update to see if it worked any better. It uses visual tracking which (as you can see) lost us after a few seconds each time, it was the same with 'DJI POI' mode. We usually use the Litchi app which has been more reliable because it uses the GPS location of the controller. So yep it's all sorted because we go back to that from here 👍
