今回は、ツイストヘリンボーンステッチで編むブレスレットの作り方をご紹介致しました。
ツイストヘリンボーンステッチは、ヘリンボーンステッチで拾うビーズをずらして、ねじれ（ツイスト）が生まれるようにするステッチです。
基本のヘリンボーンステッチでは、２個のビーズが水平に並ぶのではなく、少し曲がってカタカナのハの字のように並びます。ハの字に向かい合うビーズの形が魚のニシンの骨（英語でヘリンボーン）の形に似ていることから名付けられました。
２個のビーズを１目とし、２目（ビーズ４個）、３目（ビーズ６個）などと横幅を増やして、フラット、スパイラル又はツイスト状、チューブ状等に編むことができます。
今回は、いつもと同じく編み始めにラダーステッチで土台を作り、その後拾うビーズをずらしながら、ツイストヘリンボーンステッチでブレスレットを編んでいきます。
２個ビーズを通したら、２個下がって拾い (2 down)、続けて１個上がって拾う (1 up)、という手順を繰り返すのがポイントです。

This time, we are going to weave an elegant bracelet in Twisted Herringbone Stitch.
The herringbone stitch got its name from the fact that the two beads are placed in a slightly curved V shape rather than horizontally, resembling the bones of a herring fish.
With two beads as one set, you can increase the width to 2 sets (4 beads), 3 sets (6 beads) etc., or weave it in a spiral or tube shape.
This time, we are going to weave a basement in ladder stitch at the beginning as always, and then weave the twisted herringbone stitch with three different beads.
By passing through two beads down and then one bead up each time after picking up new beads, you can create a beautifully twisted spiral herringbone stitch bracelet.
At first sight it may look a little complicated but once you have finished weaving the ladder stitch basement and started to have the rhythm of "two beads down" and "one bead up" of the twisted herringbone stitch, it will be just nothing else but fun.
