I love the format you use very much. But what alot of tutorials don't mention is how much string to use.....I'm not one who likes to waste ,the good expensive string like fireline ect. But this project needs 4 1/2 feet of string.

Love your tutorial here, but one question. How do you keep the fringes straight? Keep them from kinking up? I've used thread and I've used clear/transparent monofilament illusion cord and I make sure each strand is not too tight, but still, every time I create them, each of the fringes hang all kinky and none of them hang down straight. PLEASE HELP!
