The HUGE advantage of doing the KZfaqs jewelry tuts the way you do them is that we, the viewers, have the opportunity to freeze the instructions and write them down. To me, this is a far more effective way to learn. Keep doing them this way!

You have a real talent for not only the designs and modifications of other designs, but also for the color selections that you choose! I just LOVE your patterns, and the tutorials are very easy to understand. I really like when you trace the thread path in red. It helps SEE where you should go next.

Love your tutorials, and have high respect for your professionalism. I've been making jewelry for several years as a hobby, but just now getting into it as a profession. It's great to learn reinforcement techniques to create superior products. Thank you for your hard work and continued dedication to the industry!!!

You seriously make the most beautiful pieces. Please keep the videos coming. I don't need written patterns, I just line up my beads and bead along... What beautiful creations we make together. Sometimes I'm having so much fun I look at the finished piece and can't believe how stunning a piece we just did. Thank you for making me look sooooo good!!!

Absolutely love all your tutorials. Thankyou so much for taking the time to share with us. Have just found out I can pause so even better as I was finding I couldn't keep up but that was my fault. Fantastic clear instructions.

This is a pattern where I replaced beads. The original pattern Is called "basic netted necklace" and all I did was replace seedbeads for some pearls. I also have the basic netted necklace in video version on my beginners channel, it's called "b4pbakup" if you look at that first you will be able to see what seedbeads you need to replace for pearls. I just did a little extra picot around the bottom pearls :-)

it's still there, but there have been some youtube problems. I had trouble uploading this last weekend but got it solved with cleaning out my history and cookies. Give that a try or open the video in another browser that may help also. I don't have tuts for sale since everything is free for you guys here. If you can't get it done with cleaning out your cookies check if other vids still work first, and if so and it still doesn't work I can see if I can send you a personal uplaod. Let me know ok

LOL, Wig Maker, you'll get the hang of it, just pause the vid and if I skip some steps that mostly means "repeat what you have done now several times already" :-) my beginners page has video (b4pbakup), i'm getting in to the advanced level there now, so new pic tuts here will probably pop up there in video format unless they take me more than an hour to make. Uploads up to 50 minutes take 18 hours in HD 1080 so I want to try and stay under 45 minutes there :-)
@RaymondNok Жыл бұрын
Gorgeous. Tricky to make now as it was 10 years ago since i began beading.
@SuperWigMaker11 жыл бұрын
BTW I would follow a 45 minutes video if I had to, to see exactly how you made this art. There is another similar video of you making a necklace with slightly different pattern and colours. I am so excited. This alone is a magnificent jewel and using expensive stones and beads you could make something with amazing quality and class.

I finished this necklace and it really came nice but instead of bicones i used 4mm glass pearls same colour as the 6mm. I really thank you for what you are doing and the videos are really easy to follow. I just started in October to do beading cause I go to classes but whatever you thought me the teacher did not teach me. Every time I show her a piece of jewelery that I do from yours she is always finding faults and everyone tells me not to show her anything. I know they come nice cause so many people tell me so she is the only one that find faults not like you. you encourage us to try and succeed. Thanks very much and keep on doing what you are doing cause your work is amazing. Wish i could show the the pieces that I have done.
@Beading4perfectionists9 жыл бұрын
No no, please do pick her brain. If she finds faults I would love to hear what they are. I always work on improving my work, so do please listen to her in detail. If she is full of crap or jealous of the pieces you made you will soon find out, but if she is right you can learn from her and so could I. You can show me the pieces if you like, make a picture and if you are on facebook you can add them on my page. Look for beading4perfectionists on facebook you will find me there :-)

I need to show you how to attach a jumpring and a clasp to a loop? In that case I have a better idea, come join me on the beginners channel everything gets explained there. Go search youtube for "b4pbakup" choose the option to see all my video's and choose the basic netted necklace (sorry can't add links here) it will show you all, there pearls are just basically that pattern, beads just have been replaced for other beads
@Beading4perfectionists12 жыл бұрын
On the other hand I do buy books, sometimes for just one pattern. If I do start considering doing this I would like to do them per pattern and not book so people can collect all their favorite patterns themselves. But for right now the demand does not outweigh the costs, although when demand gets higher pattern prices could always be reduced... :-) Tell you what, when I reach 2000 subs I'll put up the question and have a look at the actual demand there is for downloadable patterns :-)

Hi Patc, fireline is beading thread. you can find it on ebay.com or people also say it's fishing wire so you can get it at a local fishing store. If you are a first time beader, it won't show you here how to add clasps. This is an advanced channel. If you want to start off beading and you get stuck here, come join me on "b4pbakup" which has footage and talk and check out the "basic netted necklace" to learn how to add the clasps. After that no doubt you will be able to do this :-)
@Beading4perfectionists11 жыл бұрын
yes it is Buckrogers, it started with the basic netted necklace and these are basically some beads replaces with a little imagination added to it. If you are a beginning beaders come join me on my beginners channel, there is video there of the basic netted necklace and me talkking you through it, and after you looked at that you can come back here and will understand it better. My beginners channel is called "b4pbakup" (yes without the C), do a dearch for it on youtube you'll find it :-)
@Beading4perfectionists12 жыл бұрын
you're very welcome. That's exactly what I tell people when they go off yelling they don't understand the vids. Just try it, bring out the beads and it will make way more sence. :-) Start lining up your bicones... Hope to have my new vid up tomorrow. :-)

nope there is not, but on my b4pbakup channel there is a video with the basic netted necklace, all i did was replace seedbeads with some pearls, so if you know how to make that one you can make this one just replace whatever I replaced :-)

Yup, check out my vid "matched netted bracelet". That one is a match for the basic netting tutorial. Bit this neclace is also basic tutorial with just a little imaination. I think it would work if some of those 4mm swarovski's would be replaced by the pearls. Also the flat spiral tutorial matches this necklace perfectly.

Well sometimes it's nice to have some help, on my other channel I by accident wrote "brichstitch" instead of brick stitch in the title so I welcomed the helped that someone noticed it so I could change it in the title :-) and most people are just trying to help. Only one comment so far was nasty about it and I deleted the comment and blocked the user from my channel after giving that person a big fat piece of my mind in a personal message. :-)

well I started using glases only last week myself. That needle was really all armstretched away now when I try to get my thread through... No doubt those magnifier glasses will follow in a couple of years for me also... :-) Yes the design is mine but it's just basic netting it's based on, just replaced some beads by others :-)
@patrickmann158311 жыл бұрын
Hi B4P, I love your creations and I think that utilising the Pause button to pack in the instructions is a great idea - you can fit loads of instructions in a short video. It might be worth rereading what you've written, though because I'm having trouble with your spelling. No offence meant, I assure you! It just takes a few seconds to make sure you've got it all correct before committing it to video. Keep up the good work because your creations are top notch.
@lmturmenne11 жыл бұрын
I don't normally work with these tinier seed beads, except as spacer beads or accent beads... but this is very attractive. I think I'll give it a go. Maybe not right away, but soon. I admire beaders with good vision. I have to use magnifier glasses. Age, you know. But beading is so relaxing. I love it so much. Is this your design? It looks like lace.

well first you get out the beads and the thread..., than you start the video and pause it and do what it shows in the picture. When you have done the first step push play and do the next. Things are more complicated when you watch the video than when you just do it, it will make more sence that way. And if you are a beginning beader, please come join me at b4pbackup channel for beginning titorials. There is a beginniners netting video there. Try that first and you will be able to do this one :-)

Hi I am a crafter but never worked with beads until now. I am interested in learning and create my own designs. But looking at the video makes it harder for me to understand, I find it too fast and I was wondering if you can teach us using your own voice to. I love this necklace and by looking at your other videos you have quite a talent. Beautiful designs. Good luck.

The reason why there is such a long picture at the end is because I'm not a youtube partner. I can not choose my own thumbnail (a perk for partners only on youtube) I get a chooise out of 3 thumbnails from youtube. So to force the issue I need to make it so that 1/3rd of my video at the end has the picture I want as thumbnail to pop up in the search on youtube. :-) If I ever do become a youtube partner, I will have an option to choose my own and there will be no need for the long end anymore :-)
