When I saw this bracelet, I knew I had to try it. I followed your advice and went slowly and when I noticed a mistake I went back and after 4 days of rewinding and playing again, taking apart and starting over.... I was done. WOW, I could not believe I actually made it. The picture does not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful. I have already purchased the suppllies for the multi coloured one. Just waiting for a day when I have lots of time on my hands to get started on it. Thanks.

I made this bracelet using crystal facet beads that were probably seven times the size of an E bead for my accent bead. I alternated them with silver lined crystal E beads and pearl seed beads. Some were blue. It turned out amazing! Thank you for the intense beading experience! I loved it! I have another design cooking in my head using this same method. It was suggested to me that maybe I should make a choker using the same idea. Love to learn!

Moosie, the beauty of Fireline is it's strength and flexibility no matter it's size. You'll notice that it's almost impossible to break it on purpose, you'll end up cutting your finger before it breaks. To keep from accidentally splitting it with your needle (which is still difficult to do) try pushing the needle from the eye end first through the bead when going through a bead that has been previously added. Hope that makes sense, if not let me know and I'll try to explain better. :)

Lot of perfectionists that belong here so you're basically at home :-) Forgive me my first uploaded video, it get''s better and a little slower as you will notice. This vid actually still needs to be replaced for 1080 hd :-) Just hit the pause button underneath the vid if you can't keep up, that works the best for now :-)

Thank you so much for such a quick response. I love, love, love your channel. Your work is very awesome, and your videos are so well done. I appreciate the fact that there is no sound. It makes it much easier to concentrate without distractions. Some videos have the most horrible music that even if I were interested in their subject, i couldn't stay to watch.

to check it on making it come one and off easy you will need to make the bracelet and fit it before you put on the second layer which would be the swarovski's. A couple of more things are explained in the "next level" video (making rows) look in the description underneath the video, the link is there. I hope that will answer most of your questions :-) If not feel free to keep asking :-)

I have one pic tut and a vid tut, no delica's used whatsoever here in this one. Don't be sorry, that's what I'm also here for, not just to put up the tuts but also answer any questions you guys may have :-) Toho would work but your seedbead count may come up differently, you might be winding up using more, or maybe less swarovski's. Don't know never made one wit Toho's :-)

Soon this bracelet will be updated and I will show some actual video footage on how it's done, plus i will explain rows and how to count them to make sure you finish up right, and because I know many of you have probably broken you c-lon wire or can't get it tight enough I'll be doing this with two wires and show how to knot it safely, tightly ancd perfectly hidden.

I think the main problem with the breaking of the thread lays in the fact people do not have the patience to pull one swarovski at the time through, they just add about 3 or 4 to their thread and pull it all through and not always in the direction of the beads either, that will damage the thread. If you want a good and solid piece you need patience and if it doesn't buldge enough that is ok, just go through all the swarovki's again. watch the video, I use c-lon A and fireline 0.006 there :-)

Tiger tail is made up of multi-strands of very fine steel cables and usually twisted together. These multi-strands are then coated with plastic or nylon, which can come in a variety of colors. The coating creates a tough and resilient beading wire. So I personally don't recommend it for bead weaving as it will be too stiff.

So this is basic netting that is joined and then embelished--never knew that was an Italian style but its good to know. After viewing your video (and few others) I feel more encouraged to do a bit more in this realm. You are quite good with your instructions :) I am thinking will try to do a MUCH smaller version with 15os and 11os in crystal color with 3mm embellishment but only on the top portion to make a ring--then either peyote the bottom or perhaps I will continue the netting solely around

The projects looked awesome with crappy plastic beads and I was soon getting friends that wanted to buy them, so I made a little money and I figured if they look this good with crappy beads, the would be stunning with real Swarovski's so I started to buy them on ebay, redid some of the project and started seeing that some things would even look better if I would just adjust some things in the book patterns. I called it "perfectionizing" and here we are today, 9 years later :-)

@paddingtonchris: I used about 34 rows (times 10 beads deep) but I got a very tiny wrist. Not everyone first it so it's more or less up to the size of your wrist how many you will need. I think most people will fit it around 350 to 360. You can always do a couple of rows deep less, make it 8 instead of 10. The effect will be the same

that's ok Marny I don't mind. I do talkies now to which is much easier, now people can giggle over my speach grammer but I think I'll get less comments on my spelling hahaha. So if you and your daughter are learning beading I have set up a beginners video channel also because this is actually more the advanced channel. Just search for "b4pbakup" (yes without the C and no that's not a grammer flaw did that on purpose :-)

Well it started when I started working as a security guard in a mall, every thursday there was a sort of market there and I saw 2 people who were beading behind their booth... I liked what they did so I asked them tons of questions :-) My first project was beading swarovski flatbacks on a pendant... That didn't hold (litterally) so I was soon off the glue. In a couple of days I went in to a hobby store bought a beading book and plastic bicone beads same size as swarovski's to practice with ...

hiya again, well i managed to do it even as a practice piece it is very impressive, i used wildfire instead of c-lon or nymo, yes it did tangle a few times, i only made one major mistake, which is good, i have pictures on my facebook profile, if you fancied a look. i tested the strength with two ds lites, and it worked, am now ready to start all over again to make the proper one, oh instead of bi-cone i used 4mm faceted beads, and i used little white seed beads and size 8 clear beads,

I haven't had the chance yet to make this project :( But I think I would use Fireline on all of it my first go around and see how it does. It's so strong, I use it for all my weaving projects. In this pattern she's using a seed bead on either side of the Swarovski (which is what I always do) this prevents the sharp edges of the crystal from cutting the thread. I don't see that she requires the use of two different threads, so I would use Fireline for the whole project. Hope that helps! Blessings

I can't believe this was your first tute!! It's really good and I've always wanted to make the Capriccio since I first saw it .. so I'm going to do this one using Presciosa Bicones in Hematite ABx2 (Grey-Black ABx2) and same color seeds .. Black-grey goes with everything! I'm wondering if Nymo D will work .. I usually stitch through every crystal I use to embellish a seed bead base at least twice, so I hope that stitching through 2 or 3 times on this one will make it extra strong, stiffen it well, and ensure that crystals don't cut my thread? I don't mind the extra time and effort for the triple pass. I've done a few flat RAW-base bracelets this way, and I keep going til all of my holes are filled with thread ... you can really feel the quality in the work so the time and effort and knots from working with super-long lengths of thread are all worth it : ) PATIENCE ISN'T A VIRTUE -- IT'S A NECESSARY ESSENTIAL !!!

This tutorial was done with 6 armlenghth of c-lon, but I did a "row" capricho vid where I did the netting with C-lon and the swarovski's with fireline. so that would make it a two-parter and less knots in yout threads. The curve does not show untill you do your swarovski rows :-)

Personally, I think tiger tail would just be too stiff for this project. Because it's made of twisted steel cables it can get crimped if it's bent too far, this causes a weak spot that can break easily. Once I found Softflex I quit using tiger tail, Softflex is just so much better. Still for this project I think I would solely use Fireline, it knots well and you can't split it easily with your needle. I always blunt my needle tip with a nail file too. Hope this helps!

No, this is what's puzzling me! I counted both sides, both (the whole work) is 10 beads down. I am going to unravel it again and start anew.
