Love your 'Christmas tree'. I bought one in a supermarket about 6 years ago. About 1ft high and losing many of its needles. They were selling it for £1and I felt so sorry for it I bought and took it home. Gave it a good drink, put a few decorations on it and it only stayed indoors for a couple of days over Christmas and I then repotted it and put outside not really expecting it to survive. It did, has since been repotted again and now stands nearly 6 feet high with beautiful glossy foliage and lots of little pine cones x

It's so encouraging to see your gardens. We received another 10 inches of snow in the past few days, so once again, I won't be able to plant anything until May when everything has melted, defrosted, drained off and the soil has warmed up. Thank you for the container tour. It fills my heart with joy to see the flowers blooming, providing food for the insects. Blessings to you dear one and Patsy too!

Lovely. Funny cos I am doing opposite here getting rid of pots cos I can't bear the stress of finding water in a heatwave, I still have a few but all the messin with the weather IYKYK means it's pretty certain there will be a ridiculous heatwave in the summer so I am tryin to get ahead on this one, this is why I keep my eyes open. Tons of water I could store now if I wanted but it's just easier if I stick to woodland im thinking, and growing more lavender and heat loving stuff, play em at their own game I say . Finger on the nose. Lol. People in the comms must think im mad, but I know you get it Collette . Lol.

Delightful! I certainly use pots. In fact, I'm addicted to those cobalt blue ones (and watch for them on sale). I love a rustic-looking garden and use old watering cans, buckets - even a half old whisky barrel - for potting. Such fun. 👍😎🇨🇦🕊💫🙏🌱🌸🌿🌻

So true! Container gardens are nice.I had a Pieris in a pot for a few years. Then when it got too big I planted it in the garden, but it started to die. So I put it back in the pot and it was happy again. Some plants just do better in pots! Yours are so pretty!

Seeing all the plants in your Garden, thriving in the pots, fills me with Joy. Your Garden has really started it's growing season and makes me also long for taking care of my Spring Garden. Spring is slowly starting here and I can do some planting outside as of now... And I have started some pruning of my fruit trees. But it is still cold outside so here we have to wait some weeks before the Spring temperature start to rise. Thank you for the video today! It made me rally happy! 🌱🤗💖🇸🇪🌱

Your container garden is gorgeous and full of life! It was really interesting for me to see it because two thirds of my own little garden is in pots, tubs, and tyres, in fact in any container I can get my hands on. Sadly it's all on concrete, though, so the pots have no real connection with the earth, unlike yours. Thank you for sharing it and for inspiring me!

Hello Colette thank you for the meander around your pots, I love to see the beginning of new growth and welcome each one that comes out of hibernation in my front garden I have three beds and 40 container pots all sizes and everything sits on concrete the original tenants used the front of house as a driveway , not having a car and digging up all the concrete and paving slabs was out of the question, I made a garden the beds are less than a foot deep, they are home to various shrubs and wild flowers honeysuckle palms, easy to maintain all year round bird activity. Front of house in the afternoon sunshine and a pot of tea a book, the sounds of nature not a very busy street so it's usually peaceful . Keep doing what you do Colette, it's always a treat to view your home and gardens. Hugs and Blessings.💚🌹

Your clematis is amazing, maybe I can save mine, out competed in a bad location. Years ago I planted a euonymus, big mistake, like a plague. Some cropped up at the base of an ancient cucumber tree and almost killed it. I got it out just in time. I have a rhododendron cultivar that has been lingering about for 20 years maybe I will try it potted in anticipation of a better location. It looks more like an azalea and blooms so early, hope it works. Lovely tour!❤
