In this video, you will learn how to use the Beam/Column Join tool in Revit. This is a tool I do not use all that much but when I do it is specifically for mitering beams. This tool is incredibly easy to use and maintains a nice miter join to all beams joined with this tool. Please leave comments and questions below and I will get back to you!

Great video man! Great video man. I realised that in order for this tool to work one has to 'Allow joining' for the two beams!

When the steel member cross-section rotation 90 deg. I cant do this, why? Thank you for your help.

The join is not completing likely because you have one member that is rotated and another which is not. Try rotating the other and giving the beam join tool a try again.

How to join beam when one of those is angle beam?

That could be potentially more difficult. Make sure the beams actually touch.
