Here is another video of the beam machine at work, this is my first try at making rough lumber with a tool. I'll be using this for my next project, the Picnic table. Thanks for watching

I made my own attachment and it worked very well. As long as you have a good straight 2x4 or 2x6 this is a great way to get rough lumber fast.

Great video, thanks for sharing it with us, good thing with these lumber makers is that they make making a first flat cut super easy so you can then use an alaskan style rig for cutting thinner boards if you want to👍🏻

It's the most simple and more efficient way to make the first cut and have a straight and flat surface. Great

Congrats man I think you did a great job for your first time. You can only imagine what you'll be able to do with a little bit of practice. You'll save yourself a lot of money. Good luck

Good job on your practice cut. Just keep doing it and you'll get it down to where it's darn close to perfect. When it comes to a smaller beams or rough lumber to cut your four by four from. Understand the center has to be perfectly centered at both ends otherwise the beam well twist horribly.

Thanks for video. I'm building a log retaining wall for a garden area and want to flatten the side of the sleepers and posts where they meet for a look. I'm using pine 16' long that starts at about 10" diameter and ends about 4". Being able to simply move the guide rail over was a concern of mine, I didn't want to get out a level and do alot of math, it ain't that kinda wall 😆.
